Welcome aboard Heritage Line for your Mekong River journey. Once you've completed check-in, we invite you to the lobby lounge. 

Before the ship heads southbound on the Mekong towards Vietnam, the lounge will host an engaging lecture by a special external expert.

After departure, the entire morning and afternoon are yours to enjoy. It's time to enter cruise mode and embrace the soothing rhythm of this powerful river. 

Afternoon

The afternoon provides opportunities for massages, relaxation on the terrace deck sunbed, or unwinding on your private balcony. Create a serene connection with the river and immerse yourself in a state of gentle bliss. 

If interested, you can also visit the bridge and hear stories about the river from the captain. 

For those excited about Khmer gastronomy, there is a culinary workshop to enhance your understanding of local cuisine. 

During the afternoon tea time, we slowly approach the border and ultimately reach Vietnam. Where we dock takes just a short distance to Tan Chau, a charming, unhurried border town with a significant Chinese, Kinh, and Khmer community.

We dock near the city, offering picturesque views of the riverbanks.

Morning

Following our invigorating morning Tai Chi session and a delightful breakfast, we set out to explore this region, renowned for its aquaculture. 

Upon disembarking, we delve into the lively town life of Tan Chau by "xe loi". The xe loi driver leisurely guides you through a maze of streets, offering glimpses into the captivating daily activities of the locals and the nearby market. 

Continuing on, we visit a Cao Dai temple, engaging with one of the priests who enlightens us about the unique beliefs and spirit of Cao Dai. 

Our final stop is a fish farm operated by a local family for many years, providing insights into the essential knowledge required to manage such a distinctive enterprise in the region.

A cycling tour is optional for those who want a deeper exploration in Tan Chau. Besides enjoying the peaceful life of this region along with colourful fruit gardens, we also can stop at a small market for a little chit chat with local vendors. 

The tour ends with some exciting sightseeing on the way: A frog farm and a mat-weaving workshop.

Afternoon 

After returning on board and enjoying a siesta post-lunch, our expert guides present an overview of life in the Mekong Delta as the ship continues towards My An Hung near Sa Dec province.

My An Hung Village stands as a captivating example of an untouched local village in the Mekong Delta. We gain wonderful insights into the private household of a local family, visiting seasonal vegetable fields to understand the current farming activities. 

A Vietnamese tea tasting at a local family’s house is accompanied by a presentation of various fruits grown nearby, freshly picked from the trees. 

An artistic group performs a traditional dragon dance while we indulge in these "vitamin bombs."

Optional group excursion which is cycling is to be announced soon. 

Evening

Back on board, the ship sails into the sunset towards our destination for the next day. A complimentary cocktail hour by the pool, featuring music and dance vibes, allows you to enjoy the blue hour before dinner is served.

Morning & Afternoon

The morning in the Mekong Delta starts early with the breathtaking dawn scenery, along with all the residents. 

Guests rejuvenate with our daily morning Tai Chi class before treating yourself to a breakfast buffet. 

Then, we set out by local boat to explore one of the larger islands in the Mekong, known as Binh Thanh. This island is inhabited by communities that sustain themselves through the cultivation of water hyacinths.

You'll gain profound insights into local life and witness the entire traditional mat-making process when strolling through the village.

While taking a leisurely walk through the village, you will have the opportunity to gain a deep understanding of local life and observe the fascinating traditional mat-making process in its entirety.

Take a chance to meet a local elderly couple who have spent their entire lives on this island to learn more about the culture of this region.

An optional group excursion which is cycling is an ideal activity to delve into the countryside area. 

The ride will lead us to the Long Ta village, which is well-known for its scarf weaving. Go for a walk around and breathe in the freshness before returning to the pier and sailing back to the Jahan.

Following this exploration, the ship embarks on its final journey to My Tho. Meanwhile, a slight farewell party lightens up the atmosphere along the way.

Savor your final breakfast on board your floating abode. 

Following this, we disembark from the ship and embark on a bus transfer from My Tho to Saigon. The journey spans approximately 70 kilometers on the highway, ensuring your arrival in Saigon by mid-morning.
