Policy

  • In case we received the written cancellation more than one hundred twenty (120) days prior to the departure, we shall charge you the amount of US $450 each Passenger which is non-refundable.
  • In case we received the written cancellation within one hundred twenty (120) days prior to the departure, the cancellation charges shall be applied as follows:
  • Between ninety one (91) days and one hundred twenty (120) days prior to the departure, the cancellation charges shall be 50% of the total price.
  • Within ninety (90) days prior to the departure, even when the passengers absent during the voyage, the cancellation charges shall be 100% of the total price.
  • We may cancel the reservation and booked tickets if other Passengers hire the whole vessel, even that the Passengers have made full payment or non-payment or paid deposit only, and we shall refund such payments. Provided that we must notify you at least ninety (90) days prior to the departure

Children Policy

  • Children under 6 years old sharing the same bed with her/his parent: The child receives 80% reduction from adult price.
  • Children from 6 years old up to 12 years old receives 30% reduction from adult price.
  • Children from 12 years old up will be fully charged at the adult price.
  • Parents can only bring children under 6 years old on these occasions: Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Year.

Day 1 Embarkation - Phnom Penh City Tour

Morning

Your guide will be ready to welcome you at 11:30 at the Mekong Princess docking at Phnom Penh port. Upon boarding, a safety briefing will be conducted in the Ramvong Lounge.

Afternoon

Following lunch, local cyclo drivers will lead you on an exhilarating city tour of Phnom Penh.

The journey begins along the riverfront to the Royal Palace, offering a stroll through well-maintained gardens, with opportunities to explore the Throne Hall and Moonlight Pavilion.

Crossing into the second section, you'll walk among impressive stupas and spirit houses en route to the renowned Silver Pagoda, adorned with over 9,000 diamonds. This is home to Cambodia's Emerald Buddha and Maitreya Buddha.

After a brief pause, the cyclos will take you to the National Museum, concluding the morning tour with a detailed examination of artifacts from the Angkor Archeological Area in Siem Reap and other regions of the former Khmer Empire.

Day 2 Border Crossing - Hong Ngu - Gieng Island

Morning

Early in the morning, the Mekong Princess will set course toward the Cambodia-Vietnam border.

After completing immigration procedures, the morning unfolds with a visit to the local island village of Hong Ngu, which is known for producing traditional Khmer scarves that are exported to Cambodia. Here, you can witness the weaving process in several homes, with some villagers showcasing their embroidery art.

You will also explore the local temple dedicated to the unique Hoa Hao religion.

Afternoon & Evening

After boarding the sampans, you will be transferred to Gieng Island. After a stroll around the local sampan village, where families produce sampans daily, a canal drive will lead you through mango gardens along the riverbanks.

Experience a ride on the local "xe loi" (motor trishaw) through the island to visit a Phanxico Monastery.

The ship then sails to Hoa An and anchors overnight.

Day 3 Hoa An Village - Can Tho

Morning

The morning excursion continues by boat to Hoa An village, known for its untouched beauty and seasonal crops of vegetables and fruits.

Take a "xe loi" ride and a short walk through winding roads. Then, move to the sampan along busy canals known for being the rice milling center of the Mekong Delta.

The last stop is at a local house making Vietnamese conical hats. Here, you can ingage in the process of their handcraft and have a leisure chat with local artisans.

Afternoon & Evening

Enjoy a peaceful walk through the village, surrounded by rice fields and fruit trees.

The ship sails through Tay Do, an off-the-beaten-path area to Can Tho City, the capital of the Mekong Delta. 

Guests will enjoy a short city tour, visiting Zihuang Pagoda (Chua Ong) and witnessing welcome unicorn dances.

You have some time to explore the city before having dinner onboard.

Day 4 Can Tho - Disembarkation

Morning

Early in the morning, place your checked luggage outside your suite for early check-out. Board the sampans for a cruise through the fascinating Cai Rang floating market, a centre hub for trading on the water in Can Tho.

While the cruise weaves through the market, grasp the opportunities to capture photographs in the serene background. Also, try some fresh fruit and fresh coconut water. 

Before returning to the ship for breakfast, we stop at a local noodle factory to witness the noodle-making process.

After completing port formalities, bid farewell to the Mekong Princess and its crew. We will disembark at 10:30.
