Policy

  • For cancellations of bookings, the following charges will apply:
  • Prior 180 days to embarkation date: 5%
  • 180 – 121 days prior embarkation date: 15%
  • 120 – 91 days prior embarkation date: 30%
  • 90 – 61 days prior embarkation date: 50%
  • 60 – 31 days prior embarkation date: 75%
  • 30 days – embarkation date: 100%

Children Policy

  • A child from 5 to 11 years old: 50% of adult rate (sharing bed ), or 75% of adult rate if staying in a cabin with one adult . Children below 5 years are not allowed on board

  • PROGRAMS & SCHEDULES SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE
  • Time changing between high water and low water program may different each year. It depends on water level of the river so the exact schedule will be confirmed exactly 2 weeks before travel date .
  • Kindly provide us passport information (Full name, sex, Nationality, passport number, date of birth, validity of visa) of passengers at least four weeks prior to cruise date.
  • Passport: Heritage Line is required to keep guests' passport during the cruise due to port authority at different port of calls. Our tour guide will collect clients’ passports at the meeting point. The passport of guests will be kept until their disembarkation.
  • Visas: For the downstream cruise from Cambodia to Vietnam, guests are required to have Vietnam visa before embarkation. Vietnam visa should be valid from or earlier. For the upstream cruise from Vietnam to Cambodia, Heritage Line will help to arrange Cambodia visa onboard upon border arrival. Visa fee of 27 USD/person will be added to client’s invoice onboard.
  • Gratuities: HL suggests that if satisfied with the service a gratuity will be collected at the last day aboard. HL suggests USD5 per passenger per day. Gratuities shall be settled together with the shipboard account at the end of a cruise. Please note that guests are under absolutely no obligation to make any gratuity at all. Guests may tip HL tour guides separately and the amount would be at your discretion.

Day 1 Phnom Penh

Morning

Upon arrival in Phnom Penh, our staff extend a warm and friendly welcome aboard in the early morning, marking the beginning of your stay in your luxurious "home" for the upcoming days. 

We embark on a full-day sightseeing adventure to delve into the heart of the city. Our exploration kicks off with a leisurely cyclo ride, allowing us to meander through the streets and soak in the local atmosphere.

We will then head to the historical tapestry of Phnom Penh, visiting iconic landmarks such as the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda. These architectural gems resonate with the grandeur of Cambodia's past. 

Our journey continues to the haunting S21 prison, a poignant reminder of the dark chapter in Cambodia's history during the Khmer Rouge regime of the 1970s.

Afternoon

We pause for a delightful lunch in the heart of the city, savoring the flavors of Cambodian cuisine. 

Then pay a visit to one of the country's most renowned history museums, "Sosoro," where artifacts and exhibits vividly convey Cambodia's complex past.

Take a leisurely stroll through the French quarter of the city and the iconic Wat Phnom monument, a symbol of tranquility nestled amidst the bustling cityscape. 

Evening

We offer you to take part in an enlightening expert lecture to deepen your knowledge in the culture of the region. 

Immerse yourself in the graceful Apsara dance performance while savoring a delightful open-air barbecue. 

After dinner, take a leisurely stroll along the lively river promenade, soaking in the atmosphere and discovering the city's hidden gems.

Day 2 Phnom Penh – Koh Chen – Kampong Tralach (Tonle River)

Morning

The cruise starts entering the Tonle River. Widely regarded as a natural wonder of Cambodia, this picturesque waterway treats us to breathtaking scenery on both banks.

Our first stop is the island of Koh Chen, a place renowned for its Silver Smith Village. A thriving community of 400 families showcase their skilled craftsmanship in crafting intricate jewelry and art pieces from silver, copper, and brass.

Taking a leisurely walk through the village to discover the masterpieces of Royal Palace. Each piece tells a tale of exceptional craftsmanship, preserving the legacy of this ancient art form.

Return to the ship for a delightful lunch that will be served on board. Enjoy a presentation of various traditional Khmer fashions worn by locals during special occasions. 

Afternoon

Our next destination is the picturesque Kampong Laeang, located just opposite the renowned pottery town of Kampong Chhnang. 

Upon disembarking, we hop onto tuk-tuks, immersing ourselves in the heart of rural Cambodian life. This exciting excursion gives us the opportunity to witness the intricate art of pottery making, and visit a charming pre-Angkorian temple. 

From a scenic point, we can marvel at the breathtaking panoramic views of the expansive floodplains and verdant rice fields (seasonally dependent).

Day 3 Kampong Tralach - Prek Bangkong – Angkor Ban

Morning

Embark on an exciting excursion to explore another facet of the rural Cambodian countryside. Get on an ox-pulled cart, which takes us along the scenic riverside and meandering back roads, surrounded by rice paddies. 

Arriving at a charming village, we face two choices: explore a local NGO school and library project, witnessing inspiring educational initiatives, or visit an ancient temple with a 300-year-old architectural grandeur and serene Buddha shrine. 

Regardless of the path chosen, this experience promises enrichment, leaving a lasting impression of rural Cambodia's remarkable culture and heritage.

During our downstream journey, an engaging presentation on the Mekong and Tonle Rivers awaits. 

Reach the charming village of Prek Bangkong, formerly the residence of the Royal family. This village showcases skilled silk weavers, offering us a deep insight into the intricate process of silk production, preserving the essence of this ancient art form.

Afternoon

Sail upstream along the Mekong River to our overnight destination. 

Evening 

Indulge in a poolside sundowner cocktail hour with refreshing beverages and picturesque views. The lively dance tunes create a vibrant atmosphere.

After this pre-dinner gathering, enjoy a memorable evening cinema experience under the starry sky.

Day 4 Prek Bangkong - Kampong Tralach - Kampong Laeang

To kickstart the day, we participate in the daily Tai Chi on the open deck again, embracing the tranquil morning atmosphere. 

As our cruise continues, we reach the charming village of Prek Bangkong. Witnessing the intricate silk production process up close, we gain a deeper understanding of the craftsmanship involved. 

Our guide enriches the journey with a captivating presentation about the geography of the Mekong and Tonle Rivers, offering insights into the river systems before the lunchtime hours unfold.

Savor your last breakfast on board our floating sanctuary, soaking in the tranquil river. As we disembark the ship, we embark on a scenic bus journey to Siem Reap, which will take approximately 4 hours. 

Our knowledgeable guides will present fascinating insights about Cambodia and the regions we pass through. 

Arriving in Siem Reap in the early afternoon, you can anticipate the next chapter of your adventure in this remarkable city.
