Day 1 Hanoi Arrival

Morning

Arrive at Hanoi airport for pick up at the meeting point by our tour guide and listen to a short briefing before transferring directly to the hotel in Hanoi.

Day 2 Hanoi City tour Half day – Night train to Lao Cai

Morning

Fulfill your stomach with a delectable breakfast at the hotel before exploring Hanoi attractions with our tour guide. The route can also change subject to the client’s interest.

Visit the Temple of Literature, the complex was founded in 1070 by Emperor Ly Thanh Tong to honor Confucius and later became Vietnam's distinguished Imperial Academy for outstanding scholars.

Then One Pillar Pagoda, a significant spiritual and cultural symbol, with unique architecture and historical value that makes it an interesting tourist attraction.

Move to the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh, which allows you to gain insight into the life of Ho Chi Minh and its importance in Vietnamese history. 

Strolling around the scenic West Lake is a must-do activity when visiting Hanoi, as it offers a picturesque blend of a serene lake, significant historical sites, exciting activities, and unforgettable local cuisine.

Discover the sixth-century Tran Quoc Buddhist Pagoda the oldest pagoda in the city, this sacred site on an island in West Lake is a must-visit destination for those interested in Vietnamese history.

21:00: Pick up at the hotel by our tour guide then transfer to the train station for the night train to Lao Cai train station

The compartment is designed for shared sleeping, which each is shared with other passengers in 2 lower and 2 upper berths

  • The train schedule is subject to change and the private compartments are on request at a surcharge.
  • Train journeys provide an authentic local experience, with shared cabins for passengers (unless a private cabin is requested and all berths paid for with a supplement), and restrooms located at both ends of the carriages.
  • Due to renovation restrictions, tourists can only view the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum from the outside.

Day 3 Lao Cai – Road transfer to Sapa – Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van - Sapa

Morning/ Afternoon

5:30-6:00: Arrive at Lao Cai train station and transfer to Sapa on the tourist's shared bus in 1 hour, you will be picked up by our driver from the train station.

Check in at Sapa’s hotel before our local tour guide will pick you up at around 9:30 and starts the trekking.

Go on a trek to visit the villages of Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai. Y Linh Ho is located near the Muong Hoa River, and Lao Chai is a Black Hmong village. 

During the trek, you can explore these two villages and take in the sights and sounds of the local culture. It's a great opportunity to learn about the daily lives of the people who call these villages home.

Another trekking path is to visit Ta Van village, which is located at an altitude of 1,200 meters. This village is home to the Zay people, a minority group residing primarily in the mountainous regions of Northwest Vietnam. 

During the trek, you'll have the chance to meet and learn about the Zay people's culture and way of life, as well as take in the beautiful scenery of the surrounding mountains and rice terraces.

Return to Sapa by car

Day 4 Sapa - Cat Cat - Sin Chai Village - Hanoi - Road transfer

Morning

Your day starts with breakfast at the hotel, followed by checking out of your accommodations. At 9:00, you'll be picked up by your tour guide for the day's activities.

Begin by taking a walk to the South-west of Sapa to visit Cat Cat Village, which is home to the Black Hmong ethnic group and is one of the more well-known villages in the Sapa area. 

Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to admire the stunning waterfall and see the vestiges of a hydroelectric power station that was constructed by the French during colonial times in Vietnam.

After exploring Cat Cat Village, you'll enjoy a picnic lunch by the side of the river, surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the Sapa region.

Afternoon/ Night

13:30: Continue to trek 3 km to Sin Chai Village, which is located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain - “the Roof of Indochina”, where you enjoy the stunning landscapes of the mountain.

Return to the main road to transfer back to Sapa town on a jeep for 3km.

15:00-15:30: Transfer back to Hanoi by shuttle bus.

Day 5 Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Hanoi

Morning

Start a new day with a tasty breakfast at your hotel in Hanoi. 

Around 7:15 - 7:45, our driver will pick you up for your transfer to Ninh Binh. Along the way, you will take a short break in Dong Van - Ha Nam stopping spot before continuing to Tam Coc.

Upon arrival in Tam Coc, you'll start a full-day excursion on a small boat, rowed by a local, along the Ngo Dong River. This will give you the opportunity to take photos of the peaceful and picturesque scenery of the surrounding mountains, rice fields, and temples.

Afternoon

After the boat ride, you'll have some free time to explore the rural area according to the day's itinerary. 

Arriving at Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, which was the capital city of Vietnam one thousand years ago. Your guide will provide a description of Vietnam's history during this time.

Night

Come back to Hanoi, where you can relax and enjoy dinner. You'll have some leisure time to spend as you wish before retiring for the night.

Day 6 Hanoi – Halong Bay - Overnight on cruise

Morning

Your day will begin with breakfast at your hotel in Hanoi. Afterward, you'll be picked up by our driver for your transfer to Halong Bay.

Once you arrive, you'll embark on a cruise to explore the magnificent sightseeing spots of the bay. Some of the highlights of the cruise include Tuan Chau, Titop Islands, Dau Go, and Luon Caves, among others. These beautiful locations offer stunning views of the bay and are sure to leave a lasting impression.

During your cruise, you'll also enjoy a delicious lunch of local seafood served on board. This is a great opportunity to taste the fresh and flavorful cuisine of the region while taking in the breathtaking scenery of Halong Bay.

Afternoon

To fully appreciate the stunning beauty of Halong Bay, there are various activities available during the cruise that you can participate in.

These activities include exploring the magnificent caves that dot the bay, kayaking through the calm waters to get up close to the towering limestone cliffs, and immersing yourself in the awe-inspiring scenery. 

Additionally, you can take a refreshing dip in the waters of the bay during a swim. All of these activities offer a unique and unforgettable experience that will allow you to appreciate the mesmerizing beauty of Halong Bay fully.

After a day of exploring Halong Bay, you'll relax and have dinner on board, followed by an overnight stay in your comfortable cabin. The gentle rocking of the boat will help you unwind and have a restful night's sleep.

Day 7 Ha Long Bay - Hanoi - take flight to Da Nang

Morning/ Afternoon

Your day in Halong Bay will begin with a Tai Chi lesson, which is a great way to start the day feeling energized and centered. Afterward, savor breakfast on the cruise before embarking on your last exploration of the stunning caves in the area.

Once you've finished exploring the caves, you'll have an early lunch while on the way back to the main dock. From there, transfer to the airport by shuttle bus for your flight to Danang.

Upon arrival in Danang, our driver pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in Hoi An for check-in. Have the rest of the day to relax and unwind after your Halong Bay adventure.

Day 8 Half day Hoi An Ancient Town

Morning

Your day in Hoi An will begin with breakfast at your hotel. At 8:00, embark on a half-day walking tour of old town, which is known for its well-preserved ancient constructions.

This tour will take you to some of the most impressive sites as you wander through the old streets and cross several old houses to get a glimpse into the daily lives of the local people. 

Witness how the historical elements of the town merge with modernity, creating a unique and charming atmosphere.

During the tour, spend time visiting some of the ancient monuments of the town:

  • Come to the Japanese Covered Bridge, which Japanese businessmen constructed the bridge in the 17th century to improve traffic flow in the area.
  • Visit the Fujian Assembly Hall of Chinese - The construction was originally built in 1697 to serve as a social and religious gathering place for Chinese immigrants from Fujian, China. However, it was later converted into the Thien Hau Thanh Mau temple.

Stop at a street-side shop for a cold drink and taste some local delicacies. If time allows, you can visit some handicraft stores and buy some notable souvenirs to take home with you.

Afternoon and Evening

Spend your leisure exploring Hoi An further. You can visit more attractions, try some of the local cuisine, or simply relax and enjoy the charming atmosphere of this historic town.

Day 11 Half day Hue City tour

Visit to Thien Mu Pagoda, a famous Buddhism attraction which is located at the bank of the enchanting Perfume River

  • Continue to visit the Imperial Citadel, which is the “house” of the Nguyen Royal Family, the last dynasty of Vietnam
  • Discover some of the city's most iconic landmarks, including the front gate, the Flag Tower, and The King's Palace. These sites offer a glimpse into the city's rich history and cultural heritage.
  • Make a stop at Dong Ba Market, which is the largest traditional trading place in Hue City and also a great place to witness the daily business of local sellers and experience the lively atmosphere of the city.

Day 12 Hue - take flight to Ho Chi Minh - Half day City tour

Morning

Your day will begin with breakfast at your hotel. 

After that, our driver will transfer you to Hue Airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City.

Afternoon

After arriving at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City. From there, you can start exploring the city's many attractions.

  • Pay a visit at the War Remnants Museum, which offers a comprehensive look at the Vietnam War from the Vietnamese perspective, 
  • Then the Reunification Palace, which was once the residence of the South Vietnamese President during the war.
  • You can also visit the Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral, which dates back to 1880 and is one of the city's most iconic landmarks. Nearby, you'll find the Old Post Office, another example of classical French colonial architecture, which was built sometime between 1886 and 1891. Together, these two buildings offer a glimpse into the city's rich history and cultural heritage.

Night

Improve your bargaining skills in a local market while shopping for souvenirs. Next, you will check into your hotel and have some free time to either explore the city on your own or take a nap and relax.

Day 20 Siem Reap - Angkor Thom & Angkor Wat

At 8:30, the tour guide will be waiting for you in the hotel lobby, and then you will proceed to visit Angkor Thom, which is known as the antique capital, including exploring various tourist attractions.

The entrance to Angkor Thom, known as the South Gate, is adorned with large statues.

The Bayon Temple that has 200 smiling faces of Avalokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace, and the Terrace of the Leper King.

Afternoon

Visit the renowned Angkor Wat, which is a World Heritage Site since 1992 and is well-known for its beauty and splendor.

Explore some nearby temples such as Banteay Kdei, Srah Srang, and Chau Say Tevoda temple.

Afternoon and Night

13:30: Pay time at the Tonle Sap (BoeungTonle Sap), which is known as Cambodia's great lake. Enjoy a brief cruise past floating villages that have schools, restaurants, churches, and hospitals. 

If time permits, stop and visit Artisan D’Angkor, which provides an insight into the amazing skilled craftsmanship of Cambodian traditional handicrafts. 

At night, you can spend your time relaxing in Siem Reap.
