Day 1 Luang Prabang - Pak Ou Cave - Ban Baw village - Pakbeng

Morning

In the early morning, you will be picked up from hotels by our drivers to the Shampoo Cruise at Luang Prabang. 

After checking cabins, the ship will depart to Pakbeng along the vast Mekong River. On the way, our group will use French breakfast on board. 

We will make a stop to explore Pak Ou Cave (Tham Ting), an ancient ruin containing over two thousand Buddha statues, hold significant importance as one of the most sacred destinations for the Lao people.

Then, our group will take part in a guided tour of Lao’s ethical communities before re-embark on the cruise for lunch.

Afternoon

After a leisurely lunch, we continued the excursion to Ban Baw village, renowned for its traditional craft of producing local Lao whiskey, a community of Lao Loun, Shan, and Tai Lue blending. 

Then we re-embark to the cruise at the end of the afternoon for rest. 

Evening

Travel to your hotel in Pakbeng, exploring the beautiful surroundings and savoring Lao cuisine, before settling in for the night.

Day 2 Pakbeng - Kamu Village - Luang Prabang

Morning

In the morning, passengers will use a portable breakfast package from the Pakbeng Hotel. 

After that, we started to make Lao Cuisine and Local drinks following Lao’s guides and chef. The meals will be eaten in the afternoon.

Before lunchtime, the boat will stop to visit Ban Houay Phalam, a traditional Kamu village nestled along the river. With approximately 90 families residing here, you'll have the opportunity to experience rural life in this remote area. 

Afternoon

Before arriving at HouayXay Pier, indulge in homemade desserts and beverages crafted by our team and fellow travelers earlier in the morning.

Furthermore, we boarded the Shampoo Cruise and sailed to the Lao Immigration Office. Here, we disembark and complete some procedures. Our journey comes to an end.
