- Things to bring
- Warm clothes, scarf, hat, cap because the weather in Sapa is pretty unpredictable. It is normally cold in September, October, November, December, January, February and March
- Due to altitude of Sapa, it is sometimes foggy in December, January, February and March.
- Trekking shoes, sun glasses, sun cream, insect repellent are also necessary. You should take cash in Vietnam Dong with you because banking system in Sapa sometimes doesn’t function well. US Dollar, Euro, Australia Dollar are accepted in Sapa.
- You should take medicines with you although there are some chemist’s shops in Sapa just in case you get sick.
- Home stay's facilities are not as modern as in hotels in Sapa.

Tour Plan
Morning
09:00: Start a trekking trip 6km down southeast to Y Linh Ho Village of the Black H’mong - a village surrounded by the Hoang Lien Son mountain range. When visiting the village, you will view the magnificent Hoang Lien Son mountain range as well as the lovely, innocent black H'mong children dressed in distinctive brocade clothing.
We will continue 2km trekking down to Lao Chai Village to view the peaceful, pristine beauty of the high mountains. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a local family.
Afternoon and Evening
Walk through some lovely terraced rice fields to Ta Van Village of the Giay minority people. Ta Van Village is home to many different ethnic groups, so this is an excellent opportunity to learn more about their humble way of life while also preserving the beauty of the people here via photographs.
Overnight at homestay at that village.
Morning
After having breakfast at the homestay, we will take an 8 km walk to visit 2 villages of the Red Dao and H’mong which are Giang Ta Chai Village and Supan Village. With serene surroundings and attractive terraced fields, visiting these two villages will make you feel like entering a fairy tale.
Enjoy a picnic lunch.
Afternoon
We will catch the jeep to return to Sapa Town and check in at the hotel after the tour.
Freetime to explore until dinner.
Morning
Check out the hotel and walk down to Southwest of Sapa to visit Cat Cat village. The village is well-known not just for its picturesque environment, but also for the ethnic diversity of its residents.
Have time to relax by the stunning waterfall and pay a trip to see the vestige of a Hydroelectric Power Station that was one of the earliest hydroelectric projects in Vietnam and Indochina, built by the French in 1925.
Enjoy a picnic lunch by the side of the river.
