Day 1 Siem Reap – RV La Marguerite – Kampong Cham

Morning

Our guide and driver will pick you up from Sokha Angkor Resort Hotel in Siem Reap. We transfer to RV La Marguerite for a 5 hours drive. 

While journeying to RV La Marguerite, a short visit to Kampong Kdei Bridge, a relic dating back to the Angkorian period. 

Stop for lunchtime in a restaurant. 

Afternoon

Welcome passengers to RV La Marguerite Cruise in the mid afternoon. 

Free drink in the lobby and check-in your cabin as well as take a break after long travel from Siem Reap. 

Evening

First dinner will be prepared by our professional chefs. Stay overnight on board while the cruise sails to Wat Hanchey.

Day 2 Wat Hanchey - Kampong Cham

Morning

After a leisurely breakfast, RV La Marguerite anchors at Wat Hanchey for a landvisit. 

We will visit the Pre - Angkorian Temple on the high hill, with a scenic view of the Mekong. Recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage in 1992, the temple showcases unique Khmer architecture.

After sightseeing, we re - embark to the board for lunch. The cruise continue to navigate to Kampong Cham

Afternoon

Arrive at Kampong Cham, get off the board, and start exploring the temple of Wat Nokor by bus. 

This temple shows carved stone structures and a comfortable atmosphere, offering visitors a glimpse into Cambodia's rich cultural and historical heritage. 

Evening 

Dinner will be served on the cruise while enjoying the view of Mekong River at night.

Day 3 Angkor Ban - Silk Island - Phnom Penh

Morning

The cruise sails along the Upper Mekong River while breakfast is prepared on board. 

Arrive at Angkor Ban in the middle of the morning, and enjoy a majestic view of the sunrise of the Mekong River. Angkor Ban is one of the surviving witnesses after the Khmer Rouge Period. 

Come to Angkor Ban, passengers will learn about what happened here in history . As well as discover houses built in Khmer style and local people's daily life. 

Then we come back to the ship and prepare for lunch while the cruise navigates to Silk Island

Afternoon

Our excursion to Silk Island continues to a silk-weaving village. We have the opportunity to join wave silk with locals and learn about how to export the silk to the world. 

Continuing its journey to Phnom Penh, the splendid capital of Cambodia, adorned with picturesque landscapes and diverse pagodas and temples.

Evening

We embark on the board and enjoy the performance of the traditional Apsara dance. Then we will have dinner and overnight on the cruise.

Day 4 Phnom Penh - Phnom Penh City tour

After breakfast, we will depart for the Phnom Penh City tour. The capital of Cambodia with old French architecture buildings remains from the Indochine Period. 

Transportation in this City tour is a city bus for passengers to easily view the charming city through the window. 

First attraction is the Royal Palace with impressive architecture of ancient Khmer people. Here, you can see the various royal artifacts and exhibits on display, providing a deep insight into history and cultural heritage.

Then, we transfer to Silver Pagoda, a location of many national treasures owned by royal families. 

Our city tour in the morning will finish at the National Museum. Visitors are free to explore around the attraction. 

Embark to the RV La Marguerite Cruise for lunch. 

Afternoon

Continue the journey by discovering the former High School, known as Tuol Sleng Museum. This was formerly a prison during the period of the Khmer Rouge from 1975 to 1979.

Then shopping at the Central Market for the rest of the afternoon. Immerse yourself in the lively local atmosphere and try some of the unique products available here.

Evening

Return to the cruise for dinner and spend all night on board.

Day 5 Phnom Penh - Mekong River - Vietnam

Morning

Leisurely breakfast on the fifth day of the trip. Then we prepare to immigrate to Vietnam. 

After completing some procedures, our cruise will depart for the Vietnam Border. Lunchtime will be prepared on the ship while enjoying the surrounding view. 

Afternoon

Enjoy the peaceful scenes of traditional villages along the Mekong River, the lively river life and bustling fishing activities.

Upon arrival in Vietnam, we fulfill the necessary formalities and relax on board. 

Evening

We'll spend all day and have dinner onboard.

Day 6 Tan Chau

Morning

We arrived at Tan Chau in the morning while eating a delicious breakfast. 

Then we embarked on a small boat for a short visit to the local town which is famous for high-quality silk production. Witness traditional handicraft and experience the making process of the special silk here.

Afternoon & Evening

After visiting Tan Chau City, we re-embark on the cruise for dinner and leisure overnight.

Day 7 Sa Dec - Cai Be

Morning

After breakfast, our cruise will navigate to Sa Dec, a bustling town of Dong Thap Province. 

We start at the first attraction Huynh Thuy Le’s ancient house, popular for its unique structure with French design outside and the inside is Chinese.

Then transfer to Caodaist Temple and stroll around the vivid local market to discover local life in Sa Dec. Enhance your knowledge about beautiful and peaceful aspects of Vietnamese culture. 

Re-embark to the cruise for lunchtime.

Afternoon

Sail through Vinh Long Province, situated in the heart of the Delta region between the Mekong's two tributaries, until we reach the charming Cai Be.

The cruise temporarily sets anchor near the shore, and we continue to transfer to the French Gothic Cathedral by boat. Over the years, this magnificent church has retained its French design. 

NOTE: Regrettably, French Gothic Cathedral is restricted for tourists. Therefore,  you can appreciate its beauty from the outside, catching a brief glimpse of this captivating church.

Afterward, stroll along the riverbank and explore a rice paper and coconut sweets manufacturer. It's an ideal opportunity to savor delicious local treats like rice paper (used in Vietnamese spring rolls) and coconut candy.

Additionally, you can gain insights into the sophisticated process of their creation through interactions with local workers. 

Evening

Return to the cruise for dinner and a traditional Music Show and overnight onboard.

Day 8 My Tho - Saigon

Morning

Depart to My Tho and get ready for the checkout procedure.

Farewell to our crews and lovely RV La Marguerite. The driver will transfer us to Ho Chi Minh City by bus. 

A short explore to Cho Lon Market and lacquer factory is the end destination. 

Cho Lon Market, situated in the vibrant Chinatown of Saigon, serves as the second center of the city. Its bustling area blends the old and the new, featuring temples, traditional shops, markets, as well as unique decorated stores and cafes.

The final point will be Sofitel Plaza, at approximately 12:00. Our tour finishes.
