Full Day: Relics Of Siam - Essence of Bangkok

08:00 Start picking you up at your hotel in Bangkok center.

Your journey begins within a kaleidoscope of colour at a local flower market, and with a hands-on lesson about how to use the lotus flower to worship Buddha. From there, visit nearby Memorial Bridge and Temple, a commanding structure that shows King Rama I seated on a pedestal overlooking his prior kingdom.

Leaving from the flower market and arrive at the Grand Palace, a must-see icon of the city. The tour guide will lead you through the vast compound filled with several halls and smaller palaces used for various ceremonial occasions. Indeed, you will be admire wonderful architecture and intricate detail, all of which is considered as a salute of the craftsmanship and creativity of the Thai people.

12:00 Having lunch at a charming restaurant by the river with magnificent view of Wat Arun.

After lunch, you will have chance to visit Wat Pho (Wat Phra Chetuphon) which is famous for the massive ‘Reclining Buddha’ it houses.  In there, you will see the 48.5 meter - long statues that has been found within the Pra Vihara of the Reclining Buddha.

Depart Wat Pho, hop on car to transfer to Giant Swing, the gateway to the Baan Bat community - a community specializing in handmade monk-bowls for over 100 years. Wander around this area to witness the creation of alms bowls - an important handicraft for Thailand’s Buddhist residents - has sustained much of the community here. Folowing the tourguide to meet the locals here and learn how they made it. 

Afterward, enjoy one hour traditional Thai foot massage after a busy day!
