Day 1 Vientiane Arrival

Morning

Upon arrival at Vientiane, our team will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel for a short rest.

Afternoon

Begin your adventure with a visit to Wat Sisaket, the oldest temple in Vientiane renowned for its thousands of Buddha images and beautiful architecture. 

Next, journey to Wat Prakeo, once home to the Emerald Buddha, where you can marvel at the ornate decor and learn about the temple's fascinating history as a royal shrine.

Discover the grandeur of That Luang Stupa, admire the impressive golden spires, and explore the surrounding grounds.

Then, you will have the chance to capture memorable moments at the iconic Patuxay Monument, also known as the "Arc de Triomphe of Vientiane."

After that, savor traditional Laotian cuisine at one of the finest restaurants in Vientiane.

Day 2 Vientiane - Luang Prabang

Morning

After enjoying an early breakfast, board an express train bound for Luang Prabang. Relax and soak in the scenic views as you journey through the picturesque countryside towards your next destination.

Upon arrival in Luang Prabang, you will be warmly greeted and transferred to your hotel.

Begin your sightseeing adventure with a visit to the National Museum, housed within the former Royal Palace. Marvel at the exquisite collection of artifacts that showcase the rich cultural heritage of Laos throughout the ages.

Then, we visit the city’s oldest temple of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong, a superb piece of Lao temple architecture, which presents a sweeping two-tiered roof and ornate mosaics including a beautiful “tree of life” glass montage on the rear temple wall.  

Afternoon

Delve into the cultural diversity of Laos at the Traditional Arts & Ethnology Centre, where you can learn about the traditional arts and lifestyles of various ethnic groups.

Moving on ascend to the summit of Mount Phousi for a magical sunset experience. Here, you can explore the sacred, gilded stupa and enjoy panoramic views of the city

Our last stop today is the famous Night Market, where a lovely collection of handmade textiles made by local and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang can make us.

After the tour, transfer back to hotel in Luang Prabang.

Day 3 Luang Prabang - Pak Ou Caves

Morning

We set off on a relaxed journey by boat up the Mekong River leading us to Pak Ou Caves, a pair of interconnected caverns filled with countless gold-lacquered Buddha figures in diverse forms and dimensions. These statues have been placed by pilgrims over time.

Make stops at several villages along the Mekong River, including Ban Muangkeo, known for its local rice wine production, and Ban Xiengmene, where you can immerse yourself in the daily life of the locals and admire their traditional crafts.

Afternoon

Then, climb up to the summit of Wat Chomphet for panoramic views of Luang Prabang and the surrounding landscape. Capture breathtaking vistas of the cityscape and the winding Mekong River below.

On the way back to Luang Prabang, If the schedule allows, you can take a drive beyond the urban area to explore Ban Xangkhong, a village inhabited by the Thai Lue people, renowned for their artistic creations. 

Additionally, a light excursion to the neighboring village, Ban Xienglek, is known for its expertise in crafting the traditional Saa paper. You can either get to the nearby village and join a petanque game with the local team.

Day 4 Luang Prabang - Ban Long Lao - Kuangsi Waterfalls

Morning

Depart from Luang Prabang after breakfast and journey to Ban Long Lao. 

Begin your exploration with a visit to the Khmu village of Ban Longlao Nung, followed by the nearby Hmong village of Ban Longlao Song. Here, you can observe the distinct lifestyles and cultural practices of these two minority groups.

Afternoon

Stop at the Buffalo Dairy Farm for a guided tour, where you have the opportunity to interact with buffaloes, chickens, and rabbits and learn about sustainable farming practices.

After the dairy farm visit, journey to other ethnic minority villages in the area, where you can gain insight into their colorful lifestyles.

Then, you can visit the beautiful Kuang Si waterfalls which is a captivating natural wonder. Visitors can hike through the trails to the falls, where they can swim in the refreshing pools or simply soak up the tranquil atmosphere.

Return to Luang Prabang by late evening and make your way to Wat Phabath to witness a mesmerizing sunset over the city.

Day 5 Luang Prabang Departure

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. This morning is yours to discover Luang Prabang on your own.

If time permits, you can pay a visit to the Phosi Morning Market, a bustling hub of activity where locals gather to buy and sell an array of goods. 

Later, our driver will transfer you to the airport to catch your departure flight.
