Day 1 Bangkok Arrival

Arrival at Bangkok Airport, please go to the meeting point on the 2nd floor, inside the arrivals hall. Our guide will hold a sign with your name on it, or in case of multiple pick-ups, the signals may be hanging on the aluminum railing at our meeting point. 

We get in the car and go to the hotel to check in and rest. The time for check-in is 14:00. If you require early check-in, please contact your travel consultant.

Day 2 Bangkok City Temples, Grand Palace & Thonburi Canal Tour

Morning 

Taste Thai and Western foods for breakfast. Today, we will seek out the finest temples in golden temple country.

  • Kick off the journey with a stop at Wat Traimit, home to the world's giant solid gold Buddha.
  • Go through the historic district to another enormous Buddha monument in Wat Pho.
  • The journey continues to the Grand Palace, one of the most impressive examples of Thai Buddhist architecture entire country. 
  • Move on to extensive gardens and glittering structures, including Wat Phra Kaew, which houses the prized Emerald Buddha statue from the 14th century.

Flavor delicious lunch at a local restaurant on the way gets to the spot taking a canal boat trip.

Afternoon

Hop on a classic "longtail" boat that meanders through quaint canals and enjoys a quieter life along the riverbank. And a visit to the Bangkok Thonburi side would be complete only with the spectacular and iconic Wat Arun – discovering the iconic 79-meter-tall pagoda overlooking the Chao Phraya River.

Disembark, and the car will take you back to your hotel to relax or discover the vibrant atmosphere only found in Bangkok.

Day 3 Bangkok Free Day

Have fun exploring Bangkok or shop at the world’s top shopping malls on your day off. If not, consider signing up for one of our optional exciting tours. Let’s save the most memorable time on the last night in Bangkok.

Day 4 Bangkok - Fly to Chiang Mai - Half-Day Chiang Mai City

Morning

Head to Bangkok Airport and fly to Chiang Mai - one of Northern Thailand's largest cities and the cultural business center. Our guide will transfer you to the hotel when you arrive at the airport.

Afternoon

Have a Chiang Mai half-day tour to visit the most recognizable temples, marketplaces, neighborhoods, and bustling streets:

  • Walk 300 steps or take a cable car to the top for an incredible view of Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, a must-see temple for visitors and one of the most respected by Thai people
  • Head to Wat Chedi Luang, a Lanna-style chedi that was once one of the highest structures in ancient Chiang Mai
  • Visit Wat Phra Singh, or Temple of the Lion Buddha, home to a historical library and a collection of classic Lanna artwork.
  • Discover one of Thailand's most giant bronze Buddha statues, dating back 500 years, while strolling through the gardens at Wat Suan Dok, Flower Garden Temple.

Day 5 Chiang Mai - Elephant Nature Park (Join Tour)

Morning

7:30 - 8:00: Pick up from Chiang Mai City hotel to visit the Elephant Nature Park in the morning for a half-day to see rescued elephants and other wildlife

Feed the elephant fresh fruit and vegetables

Explore the park with your guide and enjoy seeing the elephants as they interact and play in their herds.

Enjoy a delicious vegetarian buffet with a vast selection of Asian and Western cuisines.

Afternoon

Around 13:00: Leave the park and drive back to Chiang Mai, where you will get off at your hotel

Day 6 Chiang Mai - Fly to Hanoi

Morning

You will be taken to Chiang Mai Airport for your journey to Hanoi. Your tour guide will wait for you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.

Note: Although the standard check-in time for hotels in Hanoi is 14:00, you can arrive early for an extra fee

Day 7 Hanoi Half-Day City Tour

Morning 

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel in clarity Hanoi morning.

8:00: Meet our guide at the lobby and start learning about the must-visit historical spots in Hanoi on a car or motorbike according to your interest 

  • The first place we set on is Temple of Literature, known as the first university in Vietnam. This place symbolizes Confucianism in the Ly dynasty and has been the birthplace of Vietnamese talents for generations.
  • Move to Ba Binh Square, where the great leader Ho Chi Minh read the declaration of Vietnam's independence and his resting place, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Inside that campus, you can also admire the unique architecture of One Pillar Pagoda, one of the critical works of Buddhism in Vietnam.
  • Wander along poetic Thanh Nien Road and drop by Tran Quoc Pagoda. Here, take lots of photos as the architecture and beautiful setting of the temple in the middle of West Lake will make you fall in love.

Afternoon

Recharge your power with an authentic Hanoi specialties lunch. 

Back to your hotel, and say goodbye to your tour guide. The rest of the time, you can rest or prepare for your Hanoi by night.

Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum closes on Monday and Friday and renovates inside from June to August every year. During the renovation, visitors can't join the tour ceremony but still take pictures outside and visit the surrounding area. 
Day 8 Hanoi – Halong Bay - Overnight on luxury Cruise

Morning 

8:00 - 8:30: A luxury limousine will pick you up at your hotel after fulfilling breakfast at World Heritage Site Halong Bay. You can relax for 2,5 hours on transfer before starting the trip. We will have a stop halfway.

Upon arrival at the cruise’s waiting lounge in Halong, you will be warmly greeted by cruise staff and do check-in quickly. Transfer to a speedboat to get the cruise, and the cruise manager will give you some exciting bay stories during this time. 

Embark cruise at 12:15, and receive a friendly welcome smile from the captain and cruise crew with a welcome drink. Please check in your room, and a delicious lunch is ready at the restaurant. 

Enjoy lunch while admiring thousands of limestones and islets on the sparkling green water. 

Afternoon

When your energy is in full charge, engage in water activities that bring you closer to the bay's natural beauty. Depending on each cruise itinerary, you will conquer the island's peak, caving and kayaking through islets and caves. 

Return to the cruise, have a short rest and try your cooking skill Vietnam cuisine with the chef or sip on cocktails while waiting for charming dusk down in Happy hour, “Buy 01 get 01 drink,” at 17:00 - 17:30 

Evening

A deluxe dinner is served at the restaurant.

This night on the cruise is more vibrant, with activities like squid fishing, watching movies, battle wits with board games, and night bars.

Day 9 Halong Bay – Hanoi – Fly to Hue

Morning

6:00: Early birds who want to improve their health can practice Tai Chi Class or just feel the fresh air from your room. Then a light breakfast is prepared enough to recharge to continue the excursion. 

Discover more spots to understand the lifestyle in the fishing village or chill out and swim under the water. Back to the cruise and refresh with the last complete brunch. Please process the check out at 10:00 - 10:30 while cruising towards the pier.

Transfer to a speedboat to get to the pier, say goodbye to the captain and cruise crew, and arrive at the port around 11:15.

Afternoon 

Our driver will transfer you directly to the Hanoi airport for the Hue flight.

Landing at Phu Bai airport, our transfer drive to the hotel for check-in and refresh for a long day.

Day 10 Hue Half-Day City Tour

Morning

8:00: Join a half-day tour sightseeing the tranquil ancient capital of Vietnam 

  • Visit Thien Mu Pagoda, the important Buddhist site on the Perfume River's bank. The pagoda's antique architecture and prime Perfume River location make it attractive
  • Head to the Imperial Citadel, the "house" of the Nguyen Royal Family, the last dynasty in Vietnam, allowing visitors to explore a part of Vietnam's pre-modern history
  • Experience Dong Ba Market to learn how natives spend their day. Be sure to pick up some unique souvenirs before we take you back to your hotel

Day 11 Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An - Road transfer

Morning 

Finish your breakfast and process check out at the hotel. 

8:00: Transfer to Da Nang via Cloudy Pass by shuttle bus or private car. On the way, we will stop at some spots for sightseeing as Hai Van Gate, the lonely pine tree, and turtle rock (there can be a bit of a surcharge). Arrive in vibrant Da Nang City, and we continue to head to Hoi An ancient town for check-in at the hotel.

Day 12 Hoi An Half-Day City Tour

Morning / Afternoon

A peaceful morning in Hoi An starts with a full breakfast at your hotel

Around 8:00 / 13:00: Please be ready at the lobby, and our guide will pick you up for a walking tour through antique alleys and streets. Cross several old houses, witness how historical elements of the town merge with modernity and see the daily lives of local people along Thu Bon River. 

  • Stop by the Japanese Covered Bridge, a symbol of this ancient town that you should not miss, and listen to the story of the bridge’s architectural changes over many years of history.
  • The next stop is Fujian Assembly Hall of Chinese, worship of Chinese who settled in Hoi An in the 17th century from Fujian in China.

Then let’s go shopping at a handicraft store, where the creation of most notable souvenirs in town is entirely handmade, and buy some of them to bring back to your hometown.

Return to your hotel, say goodbye to our guide, and chill out in your free time.

Day 13 Hoi An – Da Nang - Fly to Ho Chi Minh City

Morning

Spend some time resting before transporting to the airport in Da Nang for a flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Transfer from the airport to the hotel. Relax or explore the dynamic city on your own

Day 14 Luxury Cu Chi Tunnel by Speedboat

Morning 

Enjoy breakfast early at the hotel. 

7:00: The Les Rives guide will pick you up at the lobby and take you to the Bach Dang speedboat by car. Boarding the speedboat, you will be welcomed by a light breakfast with sandwiches or pastries, fresh tropical fruits, and Vietnamese iced coffee (Ca phe sua da). Along the stream, within 15 minutes, the background changes from the city stretch to the lush jungle, and you learn more about the riverbank life. 

Arriving at the Cu Chi Tunnels at a quieter time than others, we explore the critical “secret shelter” to support Vietnamese soldiers during the Vietnam War.

  • Watch a short introductory video about 'propaganda' for the Cu Chi area
  • Walk into the jungle and find the traps, the secret entrances, the bunkers, and underground hideouts. 
  • Deep into the underground tunnel, you will be amazed at the living area of the soldiers of the Vietnam War, fully furnished with kitchens, storage facilities, weapons factories, hospitals, and command centers. 
  • Try shooting at the firing range.
  • Afterward, slake with green tea and sample the local cassava root that has fed Viet Cong fighters for years.

When you have fully experienced a unique tunnel, we return to the speedboat to delight in traditional Vietnamese lunch.

Afternoon

Sail back to Ho Chi Minh City and reach the pier at 13:00. We will transfer you to your hotel by car for your rest time.

Day 15 Ho Chi Minh City - Cai Be - Can Tho

Morning 

Please process check out the room at the hotel after breakfast. 

8:00: Our driver and guide will meet you and start traveling to Cai Be in less than two hours. Coming to Cai Be dry market, you will witness local people's trade and may purchase local products. Then we board a wooden boat, sail to Mekong Delta, and get lost in fascinating surroundings. On the way drifting along the canal, we drop by a local family factory and watch the production of several local products, including coconut candy, rice paper, pop rice, jackfruit wine, banana wine, and souvenirs. Moreover, you will learn how to make products and buy some to take home. 

On a sampan, we continue to head to Tan Phong Island and relish Don Ca Tai Tu, a traditional Southern Vietnam music genre, try tropical fruits, and listen to locals share their culture.   

Afternoon

Have lunch at a local restaurant called Mr. Vo's ancient house and be served renowned dishes, elephant ear fish, also known as fried giant gourami, a specialty in the Mekong Delta.

Ending the first day of the authentic Mekong Delta exploration, drive to the hotel in Can Tho by car to check in and relax. And you can taste varied local dishes at the night market for yourself this night.

Day 16 Can Tho – Cai Rang floating market – Ho Chi Minh

Morning 

Please wake up early to finish breakfast and check out the hotel. We will say goodbye to Can Tho and get to Cai Rang floating market in the early morning. 

8:00: We arrive at Cai Rang, where seeing the bustling trade life along the riverbanks and how locals transfer passengers and goods by the waterway. You will be surprised by how locals hang products on a pole to advertise. 

After the boating trip, we visit Binh Thuy Temple, a 135-year ancient Binh Thuy house, and Tra Uoi village to watch the craftsman making and knitting bamboo baskets and fishing nets.

Afternoon

Take a rest and recharge with lunch. 

When your energy refreshes, we discover a crocodile farm in Long Xuyen City and take a boat trip to a unique floating market where locals grow fish underneath the houses. The boat crosses through the river, lead we stroll to the land-based Cham village, and the impressive houses on stilts and Signs in Arabic on the walls appear in front of your sight. Also, you will learn how to make handmade scarves and sarongs in a cotton and silk mixture in some weaving co-operatives. 

Our last stop is the Muslim temple and the Arabic class for children. Let’s forget busy life and freely play with children to broaden fascinating new cultures and local life. 

Evening 

Back to Ho Chi Minh to bask in body and mind after an energetic day.

Day 17 Flight to Siem Reap

Freely enjoy your leisure time and process check out at the hotel. Our driver will pick you up at Tan Son Nhat Airport for a flight to Siem Reap

Day 18 Angkor Wat Complex Full-Day Tour

Morning 

8:00: Meet our guide after your energy is well-prepared with breakfast and head to the Angkor Temple complex

  • First, we visit Ta Prohm Temple, only one temple embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers to have attractive photos in your travel album. 
  • Head to the antique capital of Angkor Thom, starting from the South Gate with its giant statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk.
  • Explore the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avalokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace, and the Terrace of the Leper King.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon

Contemplate the World Heritage Site, Angkor Wat, the most famous temple on the plain of Angkor, you will learn about the authentic ancient Khmer architecture through five towers symbolize Meru's five peaks - the enclosed wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world and the surrounding moat, the ocean beyond. 

Conquer the peak of Phnom Bakheng mountain to catch the charming dusk when the sun starts going down. 

Evening 

End of the journey to discover Angkor, we savor a deluxe dinner with Khmer Traditional Dance Show at a restaurant.

Day 19 Kampong Khleang - Tonle Sap Half day

Morning

Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Siem Reap then we transfer you southeast to one of the largest and least-visited villages on the Tonle Sap Lake, Kompong Khleang, about 55km from Siem Reap. It has a population of about 10,000 people, all making a living from the fishing industry.

  • We explore the canals (wet season) or streets (dry season) of this incredible town. In the wet season, the houses appear to be floating as water laps at the verandas, but in the dry season, towering stilts are revealed, the houses almost like wooden skyscrapers.
  • Visit one of the pagodas here, built on the site of an ancient temple, and see the wall paintings
  • Stop off to visit a house in the village to learn a little more about local life. We cruise into the open water of the great lake to see a small floating village and learn more about this incredible natural flood barrier.

After that, you will come back to your hotel in Siem Reap

Day 20 Siem Reap Departure
