The trip begins with sitting on a klong (canal) and cruising across Bangkrua to reach Jim Thompson House & Museum. Jim Thompson - the “Legendary American of Thailand” is the one who fell in love with Thailand and put all his heart into every painting, Buddhist statue and had built an art collection of his own. Spending 30 years in the country of golden temples, Jim Thompson had erected a home of his own, combining Thai and Western features.
Located in the heart of Bangkok, the house was the place for Jim to đeicate and create numerous art works. In the present days, after his mysterious disappearance in 1967, the museum consisting of six traditional Thai-style houses now is a place to showcase his work
