Day 1 Bangkok Arrival

Upon arrival at Bangkok Airport, you will be welcomed by our guide, be transferred to a hotel in the city center for checking in, and have free time at leisure.

NOTES:

  • Please proceed to the meeting point located on the 2nd floor, inside the arrivals hall, at Exit B Gate No.6. Our representative will hold a sign with your name on it, or in case of multiple pick-ups, the signs may be hanging on the aluminum railing at our meeting point. Please kindly contact sales directly for help in case you cannot find the driver or tour guide.
  • Hotel check-in time is at 14:00. And in case you would like to secure an early check in, an additional charge will be applied.

Day 2 Bangkok City Tour

Morning

Let’s start your Bangkok City Tour, after having breakfast.

First, we will visit the Grand Palace, which is home to Thailand's royal family. The majestic Wat Phra Kaew, the temple that is famous for housing the Emerald Buddha Statue, is located inside the same complex. 

Then we move on to Wat Pho, a huge building that houses the lying Buddha, and Wat Traimit, a temple that is also referred to as the Golden Buddha.

Afternoon

Boarding a long tail boat for a tour around the Chao Phraya River is the main activity this afternoon. You and your partner can witness the busy inner canals that provide amazing views of nearby local life, then make a pit break at Wat Arun, the Aube temple, on the route. 

After all, return to the hotel and take some time to unwind.

Day 3 Bangkok - Damnoen Saduak floating market - Kanchanaburi

Leaving Bangkok early in the morning, you should get ready to reach Damnoen Saduak, a rural floating market. On the way, we can take pictures and eat some local snacks at the Maeklong Railway Market. 

Upon arriving at the destination, take a cruise on a long-tailed boat down the stream to the charming Damnoen Saduak floating market, then carry on driving till we reach Kanchanaburi, the ancient town in Thailand. 

You and your partner will have the chance to visit the World War II monument, which includes the Jeath War Museum and Cemetery. You can decide to have lunch at the Kwai River Bridge's nearby restaurant on your own account. 

We proceed to Wang Pho where we board a train for a 30-minute journey along the railroad and enjoy the lovely river vista. After all, you would spend the night in Kanchanaburi.

Day 4 Kanchanaburi - Ayutthaya

In the morning, let’s head to Ayutthaya, the former Thai capital. It takes more than an hour to get there from Bangkok. 

Once arriving, we will spend time discovering the splendor of the historic capital through the ruins of its temple and palace. 

The "Monastery of the Golden Mount," also known as Wat Phu Khao Thong situated right outside Ayutthaya, is the first place you will visit.  

Then continue your trip to the historic palace like Wat Phra Si Sanphet, and one of Thailand's largest bronze Buddhas, Viharn Phra Mongkol Bopit

After enjoying a free lunch on your own, you will then go to Wat Lokaya Sutha. A huge statue of the reclining Buddha is housed at this temple. 

Spend your night in Ayutthaya.

Day 5 Ayutthaya - Pa In - Bangkok - Flight to Chiang Rai

In the morning we will visit the Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, built during the Ayutthaya era. The palace has a diverse array of structures that combine Chinese, Khmer, Thai, and European architectural traditions. It is the King's preferred summer residence.

After all, you will return to Bangkok to catch a flight to Chiang Rai and check in at a local hotel. You may enjoy the remaining time of the day as you want.

Day 6 Chiang Rai City Tour

After breakfast, let’s discover interesting stuff in the neighborhood market. You are free to purchase some unique things as souvenirs.

Then we might go to the Emerald Buddha statue, which was originally housed at the renowned Wat Phra Kaew, and continue to Wat Phra Singh, which is home to one of Thailand's most exquisite Buddha statues. It’s such a great opportunity to witness these marvelous designs that you only can see in Thailand.

A short trip to Baan Dam (Black House) from Chiang Rai City is the next step. Thawan Duchanee, a national artist, is the creator of this one-of-a-kind house. It is an unusual collection of traditional northern Thai structures intermingled with some bizarre modern designs. It functions as an art workshop, a museum, and a house. 

You can eat lunch on your own, then in the afternoon, we'll take a boat trip from Chiang Rai to Karen Village to see or/and feed elephants.

Day 7 Chiang Rai - Golden Triangle - Chiang Mai

In the morning, we will drive to Chiang Saen, an old city on the Khong River bank, after breakfast. The main activity is to visit the Opium Museum to learn more about the opium past in Thailand. 

Eat lunch by yourself at a neighborhood restaurant in the Golden Triangle. 

After relaxing, you are given the chance to take a boat ride up the Mekong Kong River to the Golden Triangle, where Thailand, Burma, and Laos converge. 

Transfer to Chiang Mai in the afternoon so you may checkin and spend the night there.

Day 8 Chiang Mai City & Doi Suthep

After breakfast, the morning will be mostly spent on a walking tour of the old town, including stops at an ancient town door, the moat, and the old wall. You will visit Wat Phra Singh, Wat Phan Tao, and Wat Chedi Luang, three of Chiang Mai's most stunning temples. 

Next, let’s have a rickshaw tour as you wander along narrow lanes dotted with traditional homes, then stroll around Warorot's main bazaar after that. 

In the afternoon, you and your partner are able to go to Doi Suthep temple. Browse the Night Market for yourself to make your evening more enjoyable.

Day 9 Chiang Mai - Mae Sapok trekking

After breakfast, take a private car to the settlement of the white Karen tribe where you will spend the rest of the day for a walking tour. You begin by taking a two-hour forest hike to the village, where you meet and interact with the locals.

Continue your journey for another hour or so through the bush to reach the stunning waterfall. You'll have a leisurely swim and a relaxing picnic lunch.

You and your team might enjoy a relaxing bamboo raft trip along the river in the afternoon.

Come back to Chiang Mai between 17:00 and 17:30.

Day 10 Chiang Mai Departure
