Half Day: Bangkok City & Temples half day

Morning

Around 08:00, our tour guide will pick you up at the meeting point: MRT Sanamchai Exit 1 (Museum Siam Exit), and accompany you till the end of the tour (Please be ready at the meeting point 15 minutes before the starting time)

Begin your private tour at Wat Pho, among Bangkok's most extensive and ancient temples, known as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha. Here, you can marvel at the intricate design of the unique reclining Buddha statue made of gold, then wander through the vast grounds that accommodate more than 1,000 images of Buddha.

Get to the majestic Grand Palace to appreciate the beauty of its extensive temple grounds adorned with traditional Thai-Buddhist architecture. The Grand Palace stands as a symbol of Thai culture and highlights the central role of the monarchy in Thai society.

During your visit here you can also explore Wat Phra Kaew, which enshrines Phra Kaew Morakot (the Emerald Buddha) dating back to the 14th Century.

Next, we will get on a tuk-tuk to pass by notable Bangkok landmarks such as the City Pillar Shrine and the Ministry of Defence.

Finally, head over to Kor Panich, a well-known traditional Thai dessert restaurant famous for its mango sticky rice, made using a family recipe passed down through generations for 80 years.

When the tour ends, our guide will suggest to you some interesting nearby places for Thai street food (at your own time), or give you some advice about transfer to go back to your hotel.
