Morning

After enjoying the new day with breakfast onboard, we'll move to the sampans and travel through a channel line and mangroves for a day of exploration.

When reaching the land, we'll try one of the most popular local transportation named “xe lam” (three-wheeler) to visit a local coconut candy workshop. Coming here, you will witness the process of making coconut candy and learn how to make them. You also can taste some and buy them if you want.

After that, we will walk through the village to admire different kinds of Vietnamese fruits and taste sweet fruits in the orchard.

Morning

We start the early morning breakfast before boarding the sampans through the lively Cai Rang floating market. This is a fantastic floating market, where all the trade of locals goes on the water.

You can see they sell lots of products, fruits, and other items from the Mekong Delta. Of course, enjoying fresh fruit and the Vietnamese “anti-aging drink”, fresh coconut water is a cannot-miss-out activity.

Last activity before returning to the ship for a sumptuous buffet, we stop at a local noodle factory, where we witness the amazing process of how they are made. After that, we will come back to the ship for a full breakfast.

Afternoon

Lunch will be served onboard before we begin an afternoon excursion. We continue the trip to Hoa An Village, which is untouched and famous for its flower growing and handmade crafts. You will explore a flower garden, then walk to visit a local household and chat with the host to learn more about local life.

After a short break, we head on a motor cart to another village. Later on, go for a walk around the village and immerse yourself in its tranquility and untouched beauty through charming rice fields and fruit trees.

Continue the sampan tour through busy canals to the last destination: a conical hat-making family. Here, you will have a chance to interact with the community neighbors, discover how to come up with things, and try to weave mats.

Evening

For the rest of the busy day, we will return to the cruise to have dinner and relax onboard. The Princess sails and anchors near Gieng Island.

The location is a former orchard and a somber reminder of the Khmer Rouge regime's atrocities. You can take a stroll around the fields and see the modest museum and memorial stupa.

On the way back to Phnom Penh, we will make a quick stop at Tuol Sleng, which the Khmer Rouge had transformed from a sizable school into a prison and center for torture.
