Policy

  • In case we received the written cancellation more than one hundred twenty (120) days prior to the departure, we shall charge you the amount of US $450 each Passenger which is non-refundable.
  • In case we received the written cancellation within one hundred twenty (120) days prior to the departure, the cancellation charges shall be applied as follows:
  • Between ninety one (91) days and one hundred twenty (120) days prior to the departure, the cancellation charges shall be 50% of the total price.
  • Within ninety (90) days prior to the departure, even when the passengers absent during the voyage, the cancellation charges shall be 100% of the total price.
  • We may cancel the reservation and booked tickets if other Passengers hire the whole vessel, even that the Passengers have made full payment or non-payment or paid deposit only, and we shall refund such payments. Provided that we must notify you at least ninety (90) days prior to the departure

Children Policy

  • Children under 6 years old sharing the same bed with her/his parent: The child receives 80% reduction from adult price.
  • Children from 6 years old up to 12 years old receives 30% reduction from adult price.
  • Children from 12 years old up will be fully charged at the adult price.
  • Parents can only bring children under 6 years old on these occasions: Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Year.

Day 1 Can Tho - Hoa An - Embarkation

Morning

10:00 - 10:45: Meet our guide at Ninh Kieu Wharf, where the Mekong Princess is docked. We'll begin welcoming guests and set sail at 11:00. A safety briefing will be conducted in the Ramvong Lounge upon boarding.

Lunch will be served before we embark on a sampan excursion to Hoa An village, known for its untouched beauty, and seasonal crops.

Afternoon & Evening

We'll take a "xe loi" raid and a short walk around the village filled with rice paddies and fruit orchards.

Afterwards, let's get on a sampan through busy canals and observe from afar the land milling in operation. On the way, you can learn about how rice is transported and processed locally.

Reaching the last stop today, you will visit local families involved in conical hat-making. Take the chance to interact with the locals and learn the art of crafting these products.

Tonight, the ship will anchor near Gieng Island.

Day 2 Gieng Island - Hong Ngu

Morning

After a delightful breakfast buffet, we'll board sampans to explore Gieng Island. Following a stroll through the local sampan-making village, we'll take a canal drive to explore mango gardens along the riverbanks.

Guests will have a chance to experience a ride on the "xe loi" (motor trishaw) and visit a Phanxico Monastery.

Afternoon & Evening

Pay a visit to Hong Ngu Village, which is known for producing traditional Khmer scarves, and guests can witness the weaving process in their homes.

Next, tourists will visit a local temple dedicated to the unique Hoa Hao religion founded in the area.

The Mekong Princess will arrive at the Vietnam - Cambodia border this evening to complete exit procedures.

Day 3 Border Crossing - Phnom Penh - Disembarkation

Morning

The Mekong Princess arrives at the border in the morning for exit procedures before continuing its route to Phnom Penh. This upstream journey offers scenic views along the Mekong River that can be watched from both sides of the ship. 

After completing immigration to Cambodia, hop on a local cyclo to embark on a city tour of Phnom Penh. 

The tour includes the Royal Palace and its surroundings. Don't miss out on the Throne Hall and Moonlight Pavilion.

Move to the second section of the complex, Silver Pagoda, a sacred space adorned with an astonishing array of over 9,000 diamond houses.

After a short break, your cyclos transport you to the National Museum. Boasting the most extensive pre-Angkorian and Angkorian collections in Cambodia, the museum offers a comprehensive glimpse into artifacts excavated from the former Khmer Empire.

Afternoon

Back onboard, please leave your checked luggage outside your suite, and it is time to say goodbye to the Mekong Princess and the crew at Phnom Penh Port, where you will disembark at 17:00.
