Our guide will pick up at 8:00 AM for a morning trip to Amarapura. Firstly, we will visit Mahagandayon Monastery, housing over thousand of monks then Myanmar traditional Hand-Woven silk workshop; a quick visit to the U Bein bridge, world famous teak wood bridge more than two centuries and 1.2 km long at Taungthaman Lake which was built over centuriesago and longest wooden bridge in Asia. Then return to Mandalay.
Afternoon, have a sightseeing includes Kyauktawgyi Pagoda a large Buddha statue carved out of a single block of marble; Shwenandaw (Golden Palace) monastery for its exquisite wood carving; Kuthodaw Pagoda where the world’s biggest book, the full Buddhist scriptures were carved in stone plaques individually placed in tomb-likestructures, Sulamani Pagoda in the evening back to hotel.
