Tour Plan
When you arrive at the Luang Prabang Airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to the hotel for check-in.
There are no activities for today, so feel free to explore the city by yourself. Stay overnight in Luang Prabang.
Morning
After breakfast, you will hit the road to the Royal Palace Museum, which was the former residence of King Sisavang Vong and his family.
We will embark on a leisure cruise upstream on the Mekong River to see some significant views. Later on, we will head onto the mysterious Pak Ou Caves to view thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues inside the cave.Â
Stop by the village of Ban Xanghai, where the local people make the local rice wine.Â
On the way back to the city, we will visit the ancient Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong - a superb piece of Lao temple.
If time permits, we will grab our chance to visit Ban Xangkhong, a village well known for its arts and crafts. Besides we will also pay a visit to Ban Xienglek Village, which specializes in the making of Saa paper.
You can also get to the nearby village and join a petanque game with the local team.
Afternoon
We will stop at Wat Prabath to catch the last beauty of the day. The tour will end after a visit to the famous Night Market where you can find a lovely collection of handmade textiles made by locals.
Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Morning
In the early morning, you shall be ready to join one of the most sacred traditions of Laos that dates back to the 14th century - the daily morning almsgiving.Â
Later on, we will drop by the temporary morning market near the former Royal Palace to view the local’s daily life.Â
After breakfast, you will have an opportunity to conquer 329 steps to the top of Mount Phousi for a panoramic sight.Â
You will be transferred directly to the Kuang Si Waterfalls - the biggest waterfall in the Luang Prabang, where you can enjoy its natural beauty and swimming.
Furthermore, we can also walk to the neighboring village of Ban Thapene and explore the hidden waterfalls. If you want, you can also visit some of the most adorable saved bears at the Bear Rescue Center.Â
On the way back, we will drop by the Ock Pop Tock Living Craft Center, where weavers, spinners, and batik makers produce top-quality fabric
Transfer back to your hotel in the late afternoon. Overnight in Luang Prabang
