Tour Plan
Upon arrival in Luang Prabang, you will be warmly welcomed by our tour guide and then a driver will drive you to the hotel to check in.
We start our city tour schedule with the attractive temple architecture of Wat Xiengthong, a great symbol of history, religion, culture and tourism of Laos. In case time permits, a slight visit to the city center to catch a glimpse of the local people’s daily life.
Next, you will have a great chance to visit the Royal Palace Museum, offering a comprehensive look into the cultural heritage and artistic craftsmanship of the region.
Continue on the journey to Mount Phousi, a blend of natural beauty and cultural significance, a multifaceted gem that captures the essence of Luang Prabang’s charm.
After dinner at the local restaurant, we will visit the famous Night Market, where many interesting items are displayed that you cannot find anywhere else. This can help you to understand more about this country and the people of "The Land of Million Elephants".
Transfer back to your accommodation to relax.
Sharing Pickup by Minivan from Luang Prabang to Hoi Khua Waterfall, one of the beautiful sites which await your visit and enjoy an exciting Zip Line and Rope Course.
While relaxing at the Coffee shop, you will complete a security form, then an experienced guide will lead you through to the higher trees for 24 Stations of bridges and zip Lining.
Challenge your agility and use your balance with a Rope course loop of many stations of Zip Line down to the Valley between the trees across the Green Jungle Canopy to the Green Garden Flower before abseiling down from the tree. This exciting zip-line journey would never let any active travelers down.
After an interesting experiment in Hoi Khua Waterfall, we come back to the hotel and relax.
This morning, we set off on a relaxed journey by boat up the Mekong River leading us to Pakbeng at 7:00. Enjoy your breakfast on board.
Our first stop is Pak Ou Caves, housing thousands of Buddha statues that reflect centuries of reverence. After the visit, our guide will host a small lecture and explain the different ethnicities in Laos.
After lunch on board, we will stop by to visit Ban Baw village. From observing traditional crafts to participating in local activities, Ban Baw offers an authentic cultural experience that is both enriching and remarkable.
The boat arrives in Pakbeng, where you spend the night.
Note: The Shompoo Cruise will only depart on a few days of the week

In the morning, tourists can visit a local market selling a variety of products such as dried buffalo skins, frogs-on-sticks, pigs-face, buffalo hooves and local foods.
After that, we transfer to Oudomxay, an off-the-beaten-track place in Laos. Oudomxay's distinct charm lies in its ability to offer a truly unforgettable experience, allowing you to interact with locals and discover the untouched beauty of this remarkable destination.
Then, transfer to the hotel in Luang Namtha.
After breakfast, we drive to Luang Namtha museum, which has an excellent collection of Buddha images, bronze drums, ceramics and textiles.
Next, spend some time at Luang Namtha Stupa. As you stand before this spiritual monument, you can enjoy the essence of Laos' spiritual legacy and the serenity that permeates the air around it. Continue to the old Phou Pouk Stupa, visit Ban Nam Ngean "Tai Dam" and Ban Pieng Ngam "Tai Deang".
Then, visitors can have the opportunity to experience Baci-ceremony, try local meals, learn how to make paper from bamboo or take a short trek in the preserved forest area in the village of Ban Nam Dee “Lanten”.
Overnight in a local homestay.
This morning, let’s wake up early to admire some of the most spectacular mountain views. Along the way, visitors can get a visit through the various Khmu and H’mong villages. Here we have the chance to visit the intriguing Pra Xack Kham Temple with its sacred Buddha image, which evokes deep reverence among locals and showcases the heart of Lao spirituality and heritage.
We continue on the journey to Phongsaly. Alongside the guide, take a wander through the streets of Phongsaly. Learn about the history and culture of this multicultural city and the harmony that reigns between Lao people and Chinese immigrants. The town is particularly charming for its narrow, paved streets bordered by traditional Chinese wooden houses.
Stay overnight in your hotel in Phongsaly.
This morning, visitors will uncover Phongsaly’s evergreen forest, green tea and green Lao whiskey. Gorgeous views over the mountains will surprise every tourist here.
After a few hours of exploration, our lunch will be served in Phunoy village, and you can enjoy green Lao whiskey - the first green in your 3 Green Trek.
Then an adventurous path of climbing up the mountains to the jungle will begin. Along the way into the jungle forest, you can view a picturesque sight from the mountain ridge. Continue on a small jungle path and reach the top of the Phu Fa Mountain overlooking Phongsaly Town.
Free for the rest of the day in Phongsaly.
After breakfast, take an 18-km trip from Phongsaly Town to Ban Komaen’s Green Tea Pavilion and its 400-year-old tea plantation, where people grow some of the oldest tea trees in the world. This village also has a special exhibition that offers insight into the world of tea.
Along the way to Ban Komaen, tourists can admire the stunning view of Phongsaly and get a taste of notable traditional Laos’s cuisine.
You have free time to relax and explore the charming Phongsaly on your own for the rest of the day.
Following your morning meal in town, tourists transfer to visit Muang Khua. In Muang Khua, the blend of untouched landscapes and genuine cultural experiences creates an unmatched sense of exploration and discovery for those seeking an authentic Lao adventure.
On arrival, the rest of the day is yours to discover Muang Khua on your own. Stay overnight in your hotel in Muang Khua.
In the morning, we set off on a relaxed journey by boat up the Nam Ou River leading us to Nong Khiaw, the town with serene riverside charm and stunning limestone formations. Along the way, we will stop by to enjoy a drink at a bar in Muang Ngoi with the view over the Nam Ou River and take a short visit to Ban Sop Chem, a tiny village of only 56 families mixed between the Thai Deang tribe and Khmu.
After that, you can have the opportunity to view the gorgeous sunset in Nong Khiaw, where you spend the night.
Witness The Incredible Nature In Nong Khiaw
After having breakfast at the hotel, board a private boat ride on the Nam Ou River cruise to a peaceful village along the banks of the river to enrich knowledge about local people's daily life.
Then, follow our guide and reach the bottom of the 100 waterfalls, which were first revealed to tourists in late 2008. From here, begin the ascent through the jungle, following the cascades until you reach the top. For the next few hours, you will be surrounded by the visuals and sounds of the jungle and the cascading water.
For lunch, visitors will have a local-style meal in a fantastic waterfall view.
After wonderful hours of witnessing the interplay of sunlight and water, also experiencing the soothing tranquility, it is time to return back to Nong Khiaw.
Then, transfer back to the hotel in Nong Khiaw.
After breakfast, take the direct transfer back to Luang Prabang.
If the schedule allows, you can take a drive beyond the urban area to explore Ban Na Yang, a village inhabited by the Thai Lue people.
After that, our driver will transfer you to the airport to catch your departure flight.
