Have breakfast and get ready for an active day to explore Ho Chi Minh's famous attractions.
08:00: Drive to Cu Chi Tunnels and spend the morning exploring this wonderful historical underground location. Upon arrival, watch a documentary film to learn more about the Cu Chi area and its contribution to the Vietnam War.
For the adventurous, there's an opportunity to crawl through sections of the narrow tunnels to experience the cramped conditions endured by the soldiers during the war.
Another optional activity here that you can experience with a surcharge, is shooting ranges nearby where you can try your hand at shooting a variety of weapons, including rifles and machine guns, under the supervision of trained instructors.
Taste special tea and tapioca, the guerilla’s food during the war.
End the morning tour with a delicious light lunch. Then return to Ho Chi Minh City.
Afternoon
Begin your evening exploration by visiting the iconic Saigon Opera House, a splendid architectural gem constructed in 1898 by French architects and still captivating visitors with its timeless elegance since its opening in 1900.
Proceed to the exquisite city hall, now known as The People's Committee Hall, which was built by the French colonial administration in the early 1900s.
Next, venture to the nearby historic landmarks of Notre Dame Cathedral, a revered symbol of Ho Chi Minh City's religious heritage, and the Saigon Central Post Office, an architectural marvel boasting a blend of Gothic and Renaissance styles.
NOTE: Notre Dame Cathedral is temporarily closed for renovation.
Visit the colorful Ben Thanh Market, where you may observe locals selling a variety of items and buying souvenirs for your family and friends.
Get in our driver’s car and return to your hotel after an active day.
