Day 1 Hanoi arrival

Morning/ Afternoon

Our guide will pick you up from Noi Bai International Airport (Pole No.10) and take you to your hotel. Check-in time is 14:00 earlier check-in will need to surcharge.

You now have some free time to relax and explore the city on your own.

Night

Meet your tour guide outside of your hotel at 18:00 to begin the motorcycle food tour of Hanoi.

Then your guide brings you to visit a family-run eatery to enjoy a bowl of Pho with a variety of broth-based components.

After that, let’s enjoy a bia hoi with some delectable side dishes after supper. As you travel around the Old Quarter of Hanoi, you will have a chance to enjoy various street foods.

When the tour ends, return to the hotel at 22:00 and stay overnight.

Day 2 Hanoi city full day - street food tour

Morning/ Afternoon

After breakfast at your hotel, you will start your journey. On the city tour of Hanoi, your guide will accompany you to visit some of the most famous landmarks of the city:

Move to Ho Chi Minh Complex - the resting place of Vietnamese Revolutionary leader and President Ho Chi Minh. It's a great place to learn about the history of Vietnam and pay your respects to a revered leader.

NOTE: Ho Chi Minh Complex is viewed from outside, closed on Mon & Fri and from Jun to Aug

Go through Temple of Literature, which preserves long-lived historical assets of the nation. It's definitely worth taking the time to go through and learn more about the important role this temple has played in Vietnam’s past.

Continue moving to Tran Quoc PagodaHoan Kiem Lake, and Hanoi Old Quarter along the way.

Are you tired after a half-day tour? Let’s have lunch at a nearby local restaurant before getting back to the hotel for a short nap.

Night

Around 18:00, our tour guide will pick you up for a fascinating street food tour, and you can taste Hanoi’s cuisine such as Pho, Banh Mi, Banh Cuon, Egg Coffee, or local beer.

This day will be a comfortable day when you have a chance to experience both culture and local food at the same time during this trip.

Day 3 Hanoi - Halong Bay overnight on cruise

Morning

Around 08:00 - 08:30, let’s depart for Halong Bay, one of the most beautiful natural wonders of Vietnam. 

You will board a Halong Bay cruise around 11:30 - 12:00 and start your overnight cruise trip on Vietnam’s most stunning bay with a complimentary and delicious lunch.

Afternoon

It’s time to visit some of the most stunning caves and islands of Halong Bay such as Sung Sot Cave, Titop Island, and Luon Cave. Get your chance to swim and kayak in the crystal-clear water of the beautiful bay. 

One of the engaging activities of the Halong Cruise is that you can have a chance to experience squid fishing on board after dinner. Relax yourself with some interesting overnight activities on Halong Cruises.

Day 4 Halong bay - Hanoi city - Overnight Train to Hue

Morning

Start your morning on Halong Bay with a serene Tai-chi session, taking in the peaceful surroundings. Then begin your last exploration of the bay before heading back to the cruise and checking out.

A tasty brunch will be served on board while the cruise returns to the port.

Afternoon

Upon reaching the port, bid farewell to the cruise and hop on a car for your return journey to Hanoi. In Hanoi, you have the freedom to relax or indulge in some light meals before heading to Hue.

Night

Our knowledgeable tour guide will be there to pick you up and accompany you to the train station. At approximately 19:25, embark on an overnight train journey to Hue, where new adventures await.

Day 5 Pick up at train station - Hue city tour

Morning

Around 08:30, you will arrive in Hue and savor a light breakfast with the classic dish, Bun Bo Hue. Then move on an exciting motorbike tour to explore the city's imperial monuments.

The first stop is visiting the renowned Thien Mu Pagoda, a Buddhist monastery with a rich history spanning over 400 years.

Delight in a plant-based Buddhist meal within the peaceful grounds of the pagoda, accompanied by Buddhist monks.

Afternoon

Continue your exploration with a visit to the Royal tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, an exquisite architectural marvel.

After that, you can indulge in a snack of Hue's signature foods, such as banh hue, sweet soup, or nem lui.

Return to the hotel to check in, unpack, and relax. Enjoy the freedom to relax on a self-planned food adventure. Feel free to consult your guide for recommendations on where to visit.

Day 6 Hue - Transfer to Hoian via Hai Van pass

Morning

Make your day with a delicious breakfast at your hotel before visiting the highlights of Hue, a city of historical sites and cultural landmarks.

Pay a visit to the Imperial Citadel, the Complex of Hue Citadel is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which consists of a massive complex featuring hundreds of monuments and ruins from the Vietnam War.

Get on a scenic car journey southward through the picturesque Hai Van Pass. You can make a stop at the top of the pass to capture breathtaking photos.

Afternoon

Upon arrival in Hoi An, check in at your hotel and store your luggage.

After that, you can enjoy the freedom to explore the charming town at your own pace or unwind at the hotel.

Day 7 Cooking class at Tra Que village - Hoian Walking city tour

Morning

You will be transferred by a minivan to Tra Que Organic Village for around 10 minutes. 

Walk through the market gardens where local farmers work to pick fresh saw-tooth coriander and Vietnamese mint for our cooking lesson.

You can try a special herbal drink at a local home before continuing. It will be interesting.

After that, you should move to the local village market, and with a shopping list in hand, purchase a range of local ingredients.

Arrive at Red Bridge Cooking School and begin your cooking class. You will work together with the Red Bridge Chef to learn the traditional ways of preparing and cooking Vietnamese food from scratch.

Finish the class, sit down, and have a chance to savor the dishes you have prepared.

Afternoon

After chilling in the local village, you will be brought back to Hoi An at 15:00.

It’s time to go for a walk in Hoi An City to visit the long-historied architecture such as the Japanese Covered Bridge and Fujian Assembly Hall. 

Then you can head to a rustic food market and keep your eyes out for things to buy.

End your walking tour with a refreshing glass of tea in the Reaching Out Tea House while listening to a brief introduction to the locals’ tea leaves and having a tea break with the place’s host.

Personal spare time for tourists to discover the town on their own.

Day 8 Hoi An Free Time

Day 9 Hoian - Transfer to Ho Chi Minh City - Vespa city tour

Morning

Please wake up and enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel and pack your suitcases with excitement for the adventure ahead.

Then you take a short flight to Ho Chi Minh City, a city named after the great leader of Vietnam.

Afternoon

Our friendly tour guide will greet you upon arrival and take you to the hotel to check in.

NOTE: Please note that check-in time at the hotel is at 14:00. In case you would like to secure an early check-in, an additional charge will be applied.

Either relax in your hotel or have a stroll around the area to soak up the local atmosphere.

Night

Our tour guide will pick you up at around 17:30 - 18:00 for your Sai Gon nightlife on a vintage Vespa tour.

Let’s drive outside of District 1 by motorbike and show you areas that most visitors don’t get to see.

From the lights of the red paper lanterns in Cho Lon to the amazing view of the Saigon River at night from Thu Thiem Bridge, we’ll make sure you have an unforgettable experience.

Experience the rush of driving down the newly built Saigon freeway, and gaze upon the magnificent Bitexco Tower.

Stop in Chinatown, where you will get to see the largest outdoor market in Saigon and learn some of the history of that area.

Drive to District 8, where we will stop to have some food and drinks, you’ll surprised with delicious food here at an affordable price.

After that, head to District 7, where you can see the most modern part of the city, which has a lot of modern buildings with luxurious life. 

The last stop is in District 4 for dessert, known as the place of “authentic Saigonist”.

Day 10 Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta Discovery

Morning

Visitors are picked up by the Mekong Ecolodge boat at the Cai Be tourist dock.

Then we disembark to visit the Cai Be floating market and the Com candy artisan hamlet, where they can observe how candy nuggets are made and sample freshly baked sweet nuggets.

The next stop is the bee farm, where you can buy local honey and have honey tea.

The ferry keeps transporting tourists to Tan Phong Island where they may engage in garden tourism and explore seasonal specialty fruit orchards like durian, rambutan, longan, plum, and jackfruit.

After that, guests go to a local house to take part in a garden folk music exchange with local garden artists while also enjoying a cup of tea and welcome fruit.

Continue your exploration with a relaxing boat trip along small canals to Mekong Ecolodge to take part in cooking and lunch activities.

Lunch with delicious Mekong Delta cuisine will be served.

Afternoon

Visitors may witness fruit orchards and vibrant flower gardens as they go around the Mekong Ecolodge. Here, visitors are welcome to harvest and try fruits, such as Apples, Cherry, Guava, Strawberries, Toads, or To Nu jackfruit.

After 16:00, participate in the activity of slapping the ditch to capture fish and visiting the garden to gather vegetables for dinner. You will collaborate with our chef at Mekong Ecolodge to cook meals using the veggies you select and the fish you catch.

Overnight in Mekong Ecolodge.

Day 11 Tan Phong Islands - Transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City

Morning

Guests are given bicycles to begin their exploration of Tan Phong Island and join in on local activities.

We first visit a local house to observe how rice paper rolls are made, then see how a hammock is knitted using banana rope, and learn the traditional craft of water hyacinth weaving.

After creating your own souvenirs under instruction from locals, you can witness how nail files are made using bamboo sticks.

We will take part in a jackfruit leaf cake-making session under the direction of the host

Around 12:00, visitors take the Hiep Duc Ferry and are transferred back to the hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

Afternoon
