Morning
You could rise earlier than 07:00 in order to see another area of Hanoi.
Take a solitary stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake in the city's center, where you'll see many residents exercising, playing badminton, doing Tai chi, and meditating. Try some regional specialties at one of the pop-up street eateries before returning to the hotel to rest.
Start your morning with a delicious breakfast before beginning your city tour.
First place is visiting the Ho Chi Minh Complex, which houses Ho Chi Minh's stilt home, the Presidential Palace, and the grave of the country's founder. It's a place of reverence for many Vietnamese, and visitors often come to pay their respects.
NOTE: The mausoleum in the complex is viewed outside and temporarily closed on Mon and Fri every week & from Jun - Aug every year.
This complex is close to the One Pillar Pagoda, which was built before the city was founded. Its single stone pillar supports the wooden structure, making it a remarkable feat of ancient engineering and architectural ingenuity.
Then, you will move to the Temple of Literature, regarded as Vietnam's first university, during your third stop. It educated scholars, bureaucrats, and nobles for over 700 years, shaping Vietnam's intellectual and cultural heritage.
The tour also includes an opportunity to see the Ethnology Museum, which is devoted to Vietnam's 54 ethnic groups and also your last stop here.
Afternoon/ Night
We then head back to town and ride through the Old Quarter in a rickshaw, where people still do business the old-fashioned way.
At the renowned water puppet theater, you may round off a beautiful day with a performance of the Vietnamese art form of Water Puppetry.
Join the Hanoi Motorbike Night Food tour if you want to learn more about this fascinating city and explore every part of it.
Hope you will get a memorable night in Hanoi.
