Day 1 Siem Reap Arrival

Upon arrival in Siem Reap by flight, you'll be transferred from the airport to your hotel for check-in. With the rest of the day free, take the opportunity to relax or explore the city at your leisure.

This is a suggestion for a tour option "Sunset Angkor - Dinner Apsara". This is a great experience for visitors who want to enjoy the sunset at Angkor and attend dinner at a traditional Apsara restaurant.

You'll be taken to one of the best sunset viewing spots at Angkor to watch the stunning sunset over the ancient ruins, then enjoy a special dinner with a traditional Apsara art performance.

Day 2 Angkor Sightseeing

Morning

Begin your day with a convenient pick-up from your hotel, followed by a visit to Angkor Thom. 

Upon arrival, you will be amazed by the grandeur of the South Gate, an imposing entrance decorated with intricate stone carvings that describe mythological figures.

Continue your exploration at Bayon Temple, where you'll be amazed by the mysterious smiling faces carved into its towers. 

Next, venture to the Elephant Terrace, once a grand viewing platform for royal ceremonies, and nearby, discover the Terrace of the Leper King, adorned with intricate carvings and steeped in legend. 

Conclude your morning with a visit to Ta Prohm, where ancient ruins intertwine with towering tree roots, creating a hauntingly beautiful scene straight out of an Indiana Jones movie.

Afternoon

Continue your journey with a visit to the iconic Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world and a masterpiece of Khmer architecture. 

Explore its vast complex of temples, galleries, and courtyards, marveling at the intricate bas-reliefs depicting Hindu mythology and the towering central spires. 

As the day winds down, transfer back to your hotel.

Day 3 Tonle Floating Village - Fly To Hanoi

Morning

At 08:30, your guide and driver will pick you up from your Siem Reap hotel to begin an exciting tour of the charming Chong Kneas floating village. 

Set off on a traditional wooden boat, visitors will cross the waters of Tonle Sap Lake, often referred to as the “Great Lake” of Cambodia. Along your journey through Chong Kneas, you will have the opportunity to witness the daily life of the locals living on the water.

Upon docking the Tara boat, it’s time for you to explore the unique floating village. Interact with the friendly locals and gain insights into their rich cultural heritage.

Visit Les Artisans d'Angkor - Chantiers Ecoles, a renowned artisan workshop dedicated to preserving and promoting traditional Cambodian craftsmanship. 

After the tour, return to your hotel in Siem Reap.

Afternoon

After a short relaxation, you will have a comfortable transfer from your hotel to the airport for the flight to Hanoi.

Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, our driver will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in Hanoi. Check-in at your hotel and free for the rest of the day.

Day 4 Hanoi City Tour

Morning/ Afternoon

Today, visitors will have the chance to join an interesting half-day tour departing at either 08:00 or 13:00, depending on the tour availability.

Begin your adventure with a visit to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Explore the solemn grandeur of the mausoleum, where the embalmed body of the revered leader is preserved.

Moving on to the iconic One Pillar Pagoda, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Vietnam's most iconic landmarks. Here, you can admire the unique architecture of a single stone pillar resembling a lotus blossom rising from the water.

After that, explore the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first national university and a symbol of Confucianism's influence on the country's educational system.

Have lunch/dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 5 Ninh Binh: Hoa Lu - Tam Coc

Morning

Your day begins with a pick-up at your hotel in Hanoi between 07:30 and 08:00. You will then be transferred to Ninh Binh by a comfortable shuttle bus.

Upon arrival in Ninh Binh, embark on an unforgettable journey on a bamboo boat, which will be rowed by skilled local guides. The boat ride will take you through the picturesque landscape of Tam Coc, also known as "Halong Bay on land."

Continue your trip down the Ngo Dong River, where travelers have the opportunity to explore three impressive caves nestled within the limestone karst formations. 

Around noon, take a break for lunch at a local restaurant, where you can savor delicious Vietnamese cuisine.

Afternoon

Moving on to Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam. Explore the historic site and learn about its significance as a former political and cultural center of the country.

Pay a visit to the Temple of King Dinh and the Temple of King Le, dedicated to the rulers of the Dinh and Le dynasties. Here, you can participate in a traditional incense-lighting ceremony as a sign of respect for the kings.

At 18:00, end the tour and return to your accommodation in Hanoi.

Day 6 Hanoi - Halong Bay Overnight On Cruise

Morning

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before being transferred to the cruise port around 08:00 to 08:30.

Upon arrival at the port, check in at the waiting lounge, and then board the Halong Bay overnight cruise. Once on board, you will be greeted by the friendly staff with a refreshing cold drink.

At noon, indulge in a delicious lunch served on board.

Afternoon

In the afternoon, participate in various activities to explore the beauty of the bay. This may include kayaking, swimming, or simply relaxing on the deck and soaking in the stunning scenery.

Return to the ship and join a cooking class led by the onboard chef. Learn to prepare traditional Vietnamese dishes and savor the flavors of local cuisine.

Return to the cruise ship in the late morning to pack your belongings and check out of your cabin. Then, enjoy a leisurely brunch on board while waiting for the ship to sail back to the port.

At noon, disembark from the cruise ship and bid farewell to the crew and fellow passengers.

After disembarking, transfer to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City.

Upon arrival at Ho Chi Minh City, drive to your hotel and free for the rest of the day.

Day 8 Cu Chi Tunnels - Ho Chi Minh City Tour

Morning

08:00: You will be picked up from your hotel and embark on a 2-hour drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels.

Upon arrival, visitors will watch a brief introductory movie to learn about the history and significance of the Cu Chi Tunnels. Then, explore the intricate network of underground tunnels used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War.

For the adventurous, try crawling through a section of the narrow tunnels to experience firsthand the conditions faced by soldiers during the war.

Here, you can also explore the on-site museum and exhibitions showcasing artifacts, photographs, and documents related to the Cu Chi Tunnels and the Vietnam War era.

Enjoy outdoor activities such as shooting ranges where you can try firing weapons used during the war, such as the AK-47 under supervision (with a surcharge).

After the exploration, have a light lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon

Begin your city tour with a visit to the Old Post Office, a beautiful colonial-era building, and the Notre Dame Cathedral, an iconic landmark with French colonial architecture.

NOTE: The Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral is temporarily closed for renovation.

Step back in time as you visit the Reunification Palace, formerly known as the Independence Palace. This historic site played a pivotal role in the Vietnam War and was the site of the end of the war when a North Vietnamese tank crashed through its gates in 1975.

Then, pay a visit to the War Remnants Museum to gain a deeper understanding of the war's legacy and its lasting effects on the country and its people.

Conclude your city tour with a visit to Ben Thanh Market, one of the oldest and most famous markets in Ho Chi Minh City. Browse through stalls selling a wide range of goods, including local handicrafts, textiles, and souvenirs.

After the market visit, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 9 Mekong Delta Day Trip

Morning

We will drive to Ben Tre Province around 08:00. Then, embark on a leisurely cruise along the picturesque Ham Luong River, soaking in the serene beauty of the Mekong Delta landscape.

During the cruise, make a stop at a local coconut workshop to learn about the traditional methods of processing coconut products. Witness skilled artisans demonstrate coconut husking, shredding, and coconut candy making.

After that, take a leisurely walk through a mat-weaving house, where skilled craftsmen create intricate woven mats from natural fibers. 

Hop aboard a 'xe loi' (motorized rickshaw) or bicycle to explore the charming countryside and verdant fruit orchards of Ben Tre Province. Observe locals going about their daily lives and immerse yourself in the tranquil rural scenery.

At noon, enjoy a delicious riverside lunch.

Afternoon

In the afternoon, embark on a sampan boat ride to navigate the narrow canals and waterways of the Mekong Delta. Cruise through the lush mangrove forests, quaint villages, and bustling markets, gaining insight into the unique way of life along the river.

Around 17:00, transfer back to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

You will be transferred to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for your departing flight. Farewell and until we meet again!
