Day 1 Hanoi Arrrival

Welcome to Vietnam! Sunshine Travel Guide will greet you at Noi Bai International Airport, and then transfer you to the hotel for check-in. The usual check-in time is 14:00, if you want to check in early, please contact your travel consultant. 

The rest time is your leisure, freely prepare energy for the next day or explore the street Hanoi culinary with this optional:

Day 2 Hanoi City Tour

Morning 

Have a full breakfast at the hotel and power for a sightseeing day in Hanoi civilization. 

8:00: Our guide will meet you again at the lobby. Follow his/her feet, you will be led to visit top-rated historical landmarks on the car. 

The first spot is the first university in Vietnam, the Temple of Literature, built in the Ly Dynasty. This place not only symbolizes Confucianism but is also the birthplace of many outstanding individuals through many generations. 

Then head to One Pillar Pagoda to admire its unique Buddhist architecture, a lotus blooming in the Linh Chieu Pond as King Ly Thai Tong’s dream. 

Nearby is Ba Dinh Square, and call on Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Listen to our guide’s narration, you will be back into the heroic atmosphere on the day President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.

Note: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum closes on Monday and Friday and renovates inside from June to August every year. During the renovation, visitors can't join the tour ceremony but still take pictures outside and visit the surrounding area. 

It’s lunchtime, have a break and enjoy Vietnamese cuisine at an authentic restaurant 

Afternoon

Once fully energized, we continue to drive to the Museum of Ethnology, which houses the remaining cultural treasures of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups.

You will see vivid artifacts, films, and photos depicting the daily life, costumes, farming tools, and customs of many ethnic minorities throughout Vietnam.

After a meaningful day helping you gain knowledge, our journey will end when you arrive at your hotel and say goodbye to your guide at around 16:30.

Day 3 Quang Phu Cau Incense Village - Bich Dong Pagoda - Tam Coc

Morning 

08:00: Embark to Quang Phu Cau Incense Village from your hotel after a full breakfast and check-out process. In a 1.5-hour drive, you will escape from the city hustle and capture the peaceful scene of Vietnam's countryside. 

After Reaching the serene village, we stroll around and witness the incense-making process by locals: bamboo chopping, dipping the sticks in the dye, creating incense paste, and drying the incense in the sun…

Happy to interact with the locals to deeply understand the history of the old-standing incense-making profession. And don’t forget to pose with a colorful bunch of incense bundles to have unique photos. 

Taste rustic cuisine at a local restaurant for lunch. 

Afternoon 

This afternoon we move to another highlight countryside province in Vietnam, Ninh Binh where set free in the pure atmosphere 

Get into Bich Dong Pagoda and you will be captivated by the poetic scenery and listen to folk tales about special 3 separate Buddhist pagodas on the mountain. If you arrive in the lotus season from June to July, this will be a truly oriental background you shouldn't miss out on. 

Drop in Tam Coc and board a sampan rowed by locals lasting 2 hours along a large river opening in front of your eyes a lush natural scenery. 

Rowing down the Ngo Dong River, you will be surprised at the romantic rice fields stretching along the river. Whether traveling in May or June, you will be lucky to get photos of ripe rice fields turning yellow. 

Sail into three caves, and limestone masterpieces appear before your sight. The karst formation of limestone here is also interesting for natural explorers. Follow the meandering stream past rice fields and temples on the way to and from the caves, your excursion will end with full of stunning landscape photos.

Evening 

After a countryside discovery day, the car will take you to your hotel in Ninh Binh for basking and having dinner by yourself.

Day 4 Mua Cave - Trang An

Morning 

Please fill your power in breakfast cause this day requires full health to travel 

Gather with our guide and go to Mua Cave, a majestic destination in Ninh Binh for photo enthusiasts and photographers thanks to its stunning views from the mountaintop above.

We will begin a journey to climb to the top of Ngoa Long Mountain. Standing on the mountain peak, you can enjoy priceless natural scenery while gazing at the astonishing rice valley.

Recharge with a delicious lunch at a local restaurant

Afternoon 

When your health has already cooled off, we go to the last point, Trang An Grottoes. Cruise on a traditional sampan row flowing down the graceful Sao Khe River, and you will catch sight of numerous caves with limestone mountains and temples, such as Lam Cave, Vang Cave, Dai Cave, Thanh Truot Cave, Cao Son Temple, Suoi Tien Temple, Vu Lam Temple…

When you're tired and your travel photo collection is full, we arrive at the hotel. This will be a tranquil night of rest to prepare for the following cruise trip expedition.

Day 5 Ninh Binh - Halong on Cruise

Morning 

Relish the breakfast amidst a peaceful morning in Ninh Binh and check out. Then a luxury bus will take you head to Halong Bay World Heritage for a cruise trip. 

Upon arriving at the cruise’s waiting lounge in Halong, you will be warmly welcomed by cruise staff and check in quickly. Transfer to the speedboat to get the cruise, during that time, the cruise manager will introduce you to safety instructions and stories about the bay. 

Embark on the cruise around 12:15, the captain and cruise crew greet you with a welcome drink. Check-in your room and sumptuous lunch is ready at the restaurant 

Dine a tasty lunch while cruising through thousands of limestones and islets on sparking green water. 

Afternoon

After a short break time, you start to engage in water activities that bring you closer to the bay. Depending on each cruise itinerary, you will climb to the island’s top, caving and kayaking among the gorgeous ocean. 

Back to the cruise and a cooking class will be held by our chef for you to try your cooking skills or sip on cocktails when dusk down in Happy hour, “Buy 01 get 01 drink,” at 17:00 - 17:30

Evening 

Savor a deluxe dinner is served at the restaurant. 

Make your night become more vibrant with exciting activities like squid fishing, watching movies, battle wits with board games, and night bars.

Day 6 Ending Cruise back to Hanoi

Morning 

Around 6:00: A Tai Chi class is opened for early birds who want to practice health or just let their hair down among the fresh air from the room. Fulfill with a light breakfast and continue the outing. 

Get to the further spots to understand the lifestyle in the fishing village or chill out and immerse yourself in the water. Return to the cruise to refresh and recharge with the last complete brunch. 

Please process the check out at 10:00 - 10:30 whistle cruising towards the pier. 

Transfer to the speedboat to get to the port, say goodbye to the captain, and cruise crew, and arrive at the port around 11:15 

Afternoon

Be picked up by a luxury limousine and transferred to the hotel in Hanoi. Arrive at your hotel around 14:45 and the rest of the time is yours.
