Day 1 Hanoi – Ba Khan Rustic

08:30 Depart from Hanoi for Mai Chau. After over 3hr driving we will have a lunch stop in Man Duc. After lunch we will take a short bus ride before we embark on a beautiful ride (35km) along the Hoa Binh Reservoir. We will reach Ba Khan Village in the afternoon. Then We take the boat trip in Da River and enjoy the beautiful sunset in the poetic River. Tonight we will stay overnight in Ba Khan Rustic, a house-on-stilt that looks over Hoa Binh Reservoir. The rest of the day you can swim in the lake, walk around the village or relax in the garden of the house. Dinner at Ba Khan Rustic.

Day 2 Ba Khan Rustic – Mai Chau

Breakfast at the home-stay. 8:30 am you begin the beautiful ride through the bamboo forests. It was not so hard today since we do about 30 Km and good roads. Arrive Mai Chau by noon, check in the guest house and have lunch with Thai ethnic people. In the afternoon, we take a stroll around the villages and paddy fields. If you still want more ride, we will bike to Chieng Chau village near by to see the local daily life. Dinner and overnight at the home-stay.

Day 3 Mai Chau- Cuc Phuong

After breakfast made by the Thai ladies, We will start the tough day cycling from Man Duc, Hoa Binh to Cuc Phuong National Park. The road is quite flat and in good condition mostly on Ho Chi Minh trails. We will have lunch on the way in a local restaurant. Reaching Cuc Phuong National Park, check in the park hotel and relax after a long day pedaling.

Day 4 Cuc Phuong- Van Long Nature Reserve- Hanoi (B/L/-)

After breakfast, it takes a short distance biking to the Endangered Primate Rescue center and the Turtle conservation center. We continue cycling about 2 hours through the National Park and stop to visit Cave of Ancient Men. Continue riding to the center of the park, we arrive the Park Center. Lunch here before taking car out of the forest to Van Long Nature Reserve. Taking a boat trip and get deeply in the Nature you can see lots of birds and even the “white short langur” a very rare primate in Vietnam. Say good-bye with the rower, we take the car back Hanoi. The trip ends.
