At 8:00 - 08:30, a luxury limousine (book in the next step with an additional fee) will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter and take a 2.5-hour departure on the new highway to the cruise port.

Upon arrival at Tuan Chau Marina around 11:30, please complete check-in procedures at the waiting lounge before transferring to the Nostalgia Cruise by tender boat.

A warm welcome aboard the cruise! Then, let’s check in, take a seat, and enjoy your welcome drink while receiving a cruise briefing & safety instructions explained by the cruise manager.

During lunchtime, relish a delicious meal while the Nostalgia Cruise moves further to Halong Bay & Lan Ha Bay. 

Afternoon

Sail to the Dark and Bright Caves - one of the most famous kayaking areas in Lan Ha Bay. You will spend time exploring the interesting caves on your own and admire the marvelous scenery with the unique rocky structure of this place.

Option 2: The cruise will take you to the Ba Trai Dao Islet - the best place for swimming in the bay with a clean sandy beach and crystal clear calm water.

Nostalgia Cruise sails into a sparsely populated area at Tra Bau, situated within the unspoiled expanse of Lan Ha Bay. This specific region offers a pure, unspoiled scenery that beckons to explore.

You can relax on the top deck and watch the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin, join a cooking demonstration, or enjoy Happy Hour at the bar.

Savor a sumptuous candlelight deluxe dinner with the freshest ingredients in an intimate romantic setting.

After dinner, there will be a tea ceremony where you try Vietnamese tea and learn more about this culture.

Late at night, you are free to wander up to the terrace to admire the magnificent beauty of the Bay at night, have a drink at the bar, or have a massage for utmost relaxation. Otherwise, participate in night activities such as listening to music, playing cards, watching movies, or trying your luck with squid fishing.

Embrace the start of your second day aboard the Nostalgia Cruise Halong Bay with a revitalizing Tai Chi session. 

Following the session, head to the cruise's restaurant for a light breakfast that promises to awaken your senses and energize you for the final attraction on your journey with Nostalgia.

Progress by bus to Trung Trang Cave, which is dubbed a masterpiece of Mother Nature dedicated exclusively to Cat Ba Island. With a majestic landscape with thousands of natural stalactites, the cave definitely leaves you in awe. 

At around 9:45, it’s time to come back to the cruise, pack your belongings, and prepare for checkout procedures. While the cruise makes its way back to Tuan Chau Marina, please enjoy a delightful brunch and spend every last moment reflecting on your memorable trip. 

When reaching the quayside between 11:00 - 11:30, it’s time to disembark the Nostalgia Cruise and bid farewell at Tuan Chau port.

Afternoon

A limousine will pick you up for a transfer to Hanoi. You'll reach your hotel at roughly 15:00 after traveling for about 2.5 hours. Now, it’s the end of the trip.

At 8:00 - 8:30, you will be picked up (book in the next step with an additional fee) from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter and depart for Halong Bay.

Upon reaching Tuan Chau Marina at 11:30, please complete the check-in procedures at the waiting lounge. Subsequently, you will be taken aboard the tender to get on the luxurious craft, Nostalgia Cruise.

Welcome onboard! Relish your welcome beverages while the cruise briefing and safety instructions are introduced before check-in to your cabin.

While cruising Halong Bay & Lan Ha Bay, a delightful lunch will be served to satisfy your taste buds.

Afternoon

The cruise sails to the famous Dark & Bright Cave where you spend your afternoon experiencing kayaking among the breathtaking scenery of Lan Ha Bay.

Option 2: Explore the Ba Trai Dao area with its stunning beach and emerald water for the most amazing swimming experience ever!

Embarking on a voyage through the serene waters of Tra Bau before the sunset. As the ship docks, let’s have drinks at the bar during the Happy Hour (Buy 1 Get 1) special program or you can choose to take part in a cooking class and learn about Vietnamese cuisine.

A luxury dinner with fresh ingredients in a romantic space is served by the skilled crews. After that, you will join a tea ceremony for about 30 minutes to learn more about Vietnamese tea and culture.

End of tea time, enjoy the beauty of the night on the bay and relax with exceptional drinks in the bar, try your hand at night squid fishing, watch a movie in the restaurant, or play chess and cards.

Start a new day by joining Taichi's class and let the fluid movements of this ancient practice awaken both body and mind. Then, recharge your energy with a nutritious breakfast before embarking on the morning excursion.

The next destination of today is one of the largest fishing villages in Vietnam - Viet Hai Village. You will move to a smaller dayboat to travel to this peaceful village,  where we stroll around the idyllic enclave and see the fabulously rustic homes of the locals.

Upon arrival, you can choose to ride a bike or use an electric cart (at an extra cost) to discover rainforests, dark tunnels, and rice fields on the way.

In the village, you’ll have a chance to delve deep into the local life while visiting the ancient local house here. Then, get back to the day boat and enjoy a delicious lunch.

Afternoon

In the early afternoon, you will visit the Ba Men Temple, a small pagoda that locals usually worship for their safe voyage. This place also has a lovely sandy beach where you can enjoy the sun, sand, and sea. For active passengers, kayaking is also a good choice to explore this place.

Around 16:00 - 16:30, return to Nostalgia and it’s up to you to spend time with the interesting cooking class on the sundeck or have a few drinks during the Happy Hour and admire the glorious sunset.

Evening

Indulge in a gastronomic delight with a sumptuous dinner at the exquisite luxury restaurant. As you dine, the ambiance of the restaurant transforms, taking on the allure of wonderland under the cover of night.

After dinner, the evening unfolds with a range of engaging activities that allow you to make the most of your time onboard. You can choose to play board games (Card or Parcheesi), massage service, find out your fortune by squid fishing, or just simply chill out in your private room.

Start your day full of energy with Tai Chi class on the sundeck and marvel at the mesmerizing sunrise.

After that, a light breakfast is served at the cruise’s restaurant while continuing the exploration of Trung Trang Cave, representing more than 150 large and small caves in the Cat Ba National Park. Several stalactites of various shapes absolutely make a deep impression on tourists. 

At approximately 9:45, it will be time to return to the Nostalgia Cruise and begin the check-out process. As the cruise makes its way back, you can savor a delightful brunch at the onboard restaurant and cherish every last moment spent on Lan Ha Bay.

At 11:30, you will disembark from the cruise, and proceed back to Tuan Chau Port to wait for a transfer to Hanoi (book in the next step with an additional fee). 

Afternoon

Around 15:00, you will arrive back at your hotel in Hanoi, which marks the end of your trip. Hope to see you again!
