Highlight:

The Cambodia Exploration tour 13 days gives us the discovering the famous cities such Angkor temple including Small Circuit, South Gate of Angkor Thom, Banteay Srei, Grand Circuit, War Museum, Floating Village, Banteay Chhmar, Banteay Toap, Battambang, National Museum, Royal Palace, Sihanoulk Ville, Kep and Koh Rong. This package is also combined the visit of the countryside areas.

ITINERARY:

Day 1: Siemreap arrival
Today, the Cambodia Exploration tour 13 days will be started by picking up f rom the airport to check in at the hotel (Check in at noon time). Free at leisure and overnight in Siermreap.

Day 2: Siemreap – Angkor tour (Breakfast)
At 08h00-08h15am, after breakfast at the hotel, we will visit the the South Gate of Angkor Thom which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone. Next is the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King… before continuing to the jungle intertwined Ta Prohm, which is famous site for making Tomb Raider movie. Ta Prohm, one of the popular temple in the area Take a leisurely stroll through this wondrous site, with giant fig and kapok trees strangling the ancient stonework in a photogenic interplay of man and nature. After that, we visit the architectural Angkor Wat, stroll around this massive monument, exploring the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple. Finally, return to hotel for overnight.

Day 3: Siemreap – Tonle Sap Lake (Breakfast)
Today, after the breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to Chong Khneas village – about 10 kilometers south from Siem Reap. On arrival, we will enjoy a boat trip to visit the Tonle Sap Lake, Cambodia’s biggest natural water body and, one of the largest in Asia. Here, we will pass by floating village, friendly children in small boats and fishermen. Return to city for lunch time and then continue to visit “Les Artisans D`Angkor – Chantiers Ecoles” – the center works with young artisans; the team creates, produce and market a unique collection of ornamental sculpture, lacquer, silk weaving and silk painting…Finally, return to hotel for overnight.

Day 4: Siemreap – Golden Silk – Battambang (Breakfast)
After the breakfast, we will check out and depart for Battambang with 3 hour of driving. We will visit the Weaving Villages & Crafts Workshops at Phnom Srok, the famous area for the Golden Silk, the tradition of Khmer golden silk from ancient Angkor civilization still continues today in modern Khmer rural life, “Golden” silk produces a unique modern style that merges the best of handmade traditions with the newest designs to produce luxury silks. Next, we continue visiting Outaky Bridge, the place where you’ll see villagers are selling BBQ Rat, fried crickets, silkworm, tarantula and other fired insects. Check in on arrival Battambang, then free at leisure. Overnight in Battambang.

Day 5: Battambang – Sightseeing (Breakfast)
After the breakfast, we will spend the morning to discover “Traditional Livelihood”. Here we will see how local people run their small business producing such as Rice Paper Making, Dried Banana, Rice Wine, Khmer Noodle, Fish paste making, Fresh Local Fruits, Bamboo Rice Cake….
In the afternoon, we will visit Wat Ek Phnom located along Sangke River then back to take a bamboo train ride to explore beautiful countryside view with golden color during harvest season. Enjoy the sunset time at Phnom Sampov and see thousands of bad fly away for food at late evening. Overnight in Battambang.

Day 6: Battambang – Phnom Penh (Breakfast)
After the breakfast, we will return to Phnom Penh city with the stop at Kampong Luang Village in Pursat Province, enjoy a small boat trip tour about 1 hour to see the floating villages before continue to Kampong Chhnang and its small harbor very lively. We visit the quite village of Ondong Rossey, is where the area’s famous red pottery originates. Here we will discover how people make the productions. Check in on arrival in Phnom Penh for overnight.

Day 7: Phnom Penh City tour (Breakfast)
After the breakfast, we will spend full day to visit the famous sites in and around city such Independence Monument, Wat Phnom, Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda. Next, we continue heading to visit Toul Sleng Genocide Museum (S-21), this prison was a high school, and used as a prison by Pol Pot’s security forces and became the largest center for detention and torture during the rule of the Khmer Rouge. Finally, return to hotel for overnight.

Day 8: Phnom Penh – Kep (Breakfast)
After the breakfast, we will check out and then the car will take you to Kep (195km with ~ 4 hour  of driving). Check in on arrival and then free at leisure on your own. Overnight in Kep.

Day 9: Kep sightseeing (Breakfast)
Today, we will visit Phnom Chhngok Cave temple. This is impressively low key cave formation that is home to a 7th century shrine to Shiva. Next, we head to Organic Pepper Plantation to learn about the process of growing the different colored peppers and the differences between each in flavor and intensity. We drive straight to the Crab Market where you will have lunch with seafood before go to check in at hotel. The vendors will present you with live crabs, fresh prawns, squid and fish from which to choose. Overnight in Kep.

Day 10: Kep – Sihanoulk Ville – Koh Rong (Breakfast)
Today, we will take only car (without guide) to Sihanoukville with 2 hour drives. On arrival, we will join the speed boat trip (45min) to Koh Rong. Check in on arrival and free at leisure. Overnight in Koh Rong.

Day 11: Koh Rong – Leisure (Breakfast)
Today, after the breakfast at hotel, we will be free at leisure for whole day to explore Koh Rong, realax at beach, doing the spa time…Overnight in Koh Rong.

Day 12: Koh Rong – Leisure (Breakfast)
Today, after the breakfast at hotel, we will be free at leisure for whole day to explore Koh Rong, realax at beach, doing the spa time…Overnight in Koh Rong.

Day 13: Koh Rong – Phnom Penh – Departure (Breakfast)
Today, after the breakfast at hotel, we will join the speed boat trip back Sihanoulk Ville, then return to Phnom Penh city where you will take the departure flight. End the tour.
